  1. Forgot this thread.

Thanks for the answer. A follow up question. If I set the score 51-74 and 75+, to have two different missions in stage 2 (mission A & B). So if get 75 points in stage 1, I will go to mission B in stage 2. But from there? If the mission fails, I want it to restart on the same mission. If I put the score on 50 on mission start, what happens then? I will remain on stage 2, but how do I make it to start with mission B?

  2. Before I spend more money on this sim, I want to know if the countless AI problems are taken care of. Bug report you say, does it matter I say? When problems are years old. Planes chrashes into hills, get stuck on taxiways, wingmans refuse to do anything, can't fly low level, cannot use the weapons correct etc etc etc. Compared to "that other sim" , DCS is lightyears behind. Please devs, make AI great again. Note: I am only playing in single player.

  3. I've tested this quite a bit now in my PG campaign and have mixed results. I have not managed to get fuel tanks to be permanently destroyed, but it worked on some warehouses.

I think there is something special with the fueltanks, they won´t stay dead for some reason (for the map objects). Static objects are those you add in the mission editor and can be viewed in the game with F12. They will stay dead as far as I know.

  4. So I finally got time to implement a proper parking assignment system, it's working well for me, no more explosions. Parking assignment by itself seems to do nothing for the framerate, however the 'pruning' script I mentioned earlier does improve things dramatically.

Here's the file you'll need, it includes both fixes (parking & pruning):

And here is the description from the README:

Great!! Thanks alot, it works perfectly.

  5. Working on a F5 campaign on the Gulf map. It´s a small campaign with few units, and it works fine. It has to be something with the newer updates, since I am also working on a campaign in Caucasus and I know it has worked in 2.5 before. Haven´t played for a couple of weeks, and now it´s not working.

  6. If that happens you can run DEBUG_DebriefMission.bat manually. In this case, the error message should persist and hopefully provide a pointer to where the problem is.

It´s happened again, see submitted images.

In the mission, I destroyed three parked aircrafts. Two AI SU-30 bombed some shelters. First pass they bombed one shelter each, the second run they bombed the same shelter. (On several attack runs the AI seems to attack the same target on the second run).

  7. I have some problems/questions (reworking my first campaign Red bear with the newest version of DCE).

First, when AI planes are going to bomb something, they will almost every time break off and fly around in a big circle before engaging their targets. This is probably not a DCE thing, but is there any way to prevent this?

Sometimes when exiting the CMD window dissapears before I can accept or decline the mission, and the debriefing text file never appears at all. Any ideas?

Is there a way to increase anti radiation missiles success rate?

When a weapons takes damage, for example an anti ship cruise missile that the ship are trying to shoot down, an error message appears.

  8. I have't checked, as I do not have 1.5 installed anymore. Does the new scenery destruction trigger even exist in 1.5?

There is a trigger called scenery destruction in the list, but I can´t get it to work. Well, 2.5 is hopefully just around the corner.

However, bombed targets are removed from the target list, so for now it is just a cosmetical issue.
