Still not working. I noticed that there are 2 Hueys (?) trying to land in Leninogori. First one land without problems, but second one is circling around the village, and can't land. I think there is problem why it is not working. After 2.5 release, Georgia is a lot more forested than it was, and most places are now with trees - probably that causes problems for AI to land. I would recommend or removing one helicopter or change place of landing of this helo. The one working, is landing beetwen double H building and smoke chimney. The second one I can see try to land in place where is forest, I would recommend removing it or change place of his landing.

I can understand that. It must be hard for one person to fix and do everything by himself. I'm really thankful for your time spent on support in every case :) What I wrote earlier was just my subjective opinion why most things don't work. I will try newest updated version and I will notice if Huey take off from town.

Aaaand another fail. In the meantime the trigger of SAMs working fine (great thank you, finally works :D), the mission hangs on point where the heli go to pick up pilot. Huey land on pickup zone and nothing happens. I asked Coton to destroy 3 trucks moving along river and it worked. Then I made runs with rockets to kill infantry. I asked Huey to move into the target area (I didn't noticed I didn't destroyed trucks near smoke stack and double H building). Strange. It is obligatory to destroy ALL enemies before i ask CSAR to land? I'm pretty much tired of this campaign. It's full of bugs and not working triggers. Maybe the triggers itself are working, but I think there are too many rules to fullfill for these triggers to work. I don't like that.

I tried flying it separately of the campaign - and the problem still exists. I don't know what I'm doing wrong - I fly over Leninogori (or somehow called this city) on different altitudes, after radio report (PONTIAC 1-1 IS MANUEVRING). I tried 3000ft, 4000ft, 5000ft on different speeds (250 knots, 300 knots, 350 knots). And nothing, manpad doesn't shoot, trigger doesn't start Hmm I don't know what is wrong. :huh:

Same here. Im at the exact same mission and I have the same problem. Probably something is wrong with Trigger zone. Im reaching anchor point and there's no communicate about switching to zeus 67. I even managed to locate enemy Mortar positions by myself and drop bombs and kill everyone, but still not triggering events. -
Hello. I wanted to ask - how the hell I can make mission ATO A7.4 from Georgian Oil War campaign? Mission task is to escort three MI-8 carrying Special Forces which will assault Command Post, and then mission will be completed. Initial route is fine, it evades main forces in the city, but then it go through small village which always contains ZU-23 AAA hidden behind the trees (it shots down 1-2 MI8 passing him above) For me this ZU-23 is placed very unfair for player, because flying desired FP, its hidden behind trees and invisible even when he is shooting. I had to divert from FP to could shot him down. But that is not main problem. There is also SA-8 Osa in the area, which have range to engage MI-8s. We start at FARP with engines OFF, it takes me 3-5 minutes to spool everything up, and I have a very little time to engage that OSA before MI-8 passes by. To add more, there are also another ZU-23 on the command post and some MANPADS. When MI-8s are evading OSA and ZU-23 from village, they are flying to main forces which easily shoot them down. :cry: Their drop point is made EXACTLY on Command Post area... Who was thinking about that? That they will deploy there AND nobody will shoot them? Stupid :joystick: Developers of that Campaign could do 2 things to make this mission possible to do. 1. Add script on radio like in A10C missions, to approve MI-8s to enter and deploy Special Forces. Before They deploy forces, they could wait at holding point, before enemy base. 2. Make deploy point BEFORE the base (soldiers could have set route, like in other missions to move to enemy base). Then the task would be more possible - we would have to destroy enemy BTRs and MTBLs, other stuff which is dangerous for allies. But actually this mission is IMPOSSIBLE to do WITHOUT labels ON. And I don't want to turn on labels, its extremly unrealistic :noexpression: Could anyone write some possibilites to make that mission possible? thanks. :helpsmilie: Regards.

Hi. I'm using freetrack with headtracker.dll It's working 100% fine Actually my problem is sometimes I just want to temporary pause my headtracking stuff and look around cockpit with mouse. After pausing Freetrack, I can't look around with mouse. I tried to search option "disable headtracker" in key binding options, but it doesn't exist. :huh: How can I make key binding for temporary headtracker disable? Or maybe there is another workaround? :helpsmilie: Regards

Hi there. I have strange problem. I have good FPS in BS2 wihout skhval engaged. Also i have good FPS with looking with it. But every time, when my computer has to render any special effect in skhval (most common is explosion after hit, sometimes when vehicle is in move or is shooting) it causes HUGE fps drop for few seconds (until smoke dissapears).This is really annoying, especially when you have to brake after attack and I don't have time to fastly reset my skhval. Anyone know good fix to that? E.g. disabling or lowering effects rendered in skhval? Or maybe I have to lower some other settings? Regards.

I'm attacking from about 800 meters altitude, about 8-10 km (sometimes 6km if i'm sure there is no dangerous like SAM) from enemies. This is good tactic for me in mountainous terrain when no radar SAM was noticed. This prevent Vikhrs from hitting ground, especially when units stay on unflat terrain. AAA, MANPADS and Shilkas can't engage you because you are too far :thumbup: And you have clear view of enemy units behind some low covers. On flat terrain i'm staying as low as possible, closing to the enemy and searching for MANPADs and AAAs. When I found it, killing it with gun. If in both cases I get out of Vikhrs/enemy air defences, i'm sending my wingman to reccoiscenance to search for hidden AAAs. If it's clear, engaging soft targets with rockets/gun. This is only my tactic, so please be forgiving if it's bad :P Regards. PS: I found that 10km is tottaly absolute maximum, because Vikhrs doesn't have more ballistic power to engage further targets. Even if it stops count, Vikhrs remember position for this last 300 meters, so they hit targets. But like i said 10 km and no more, even 10.1 is too much. Better is for me 9.5-9.0 km. -

Good point! I will try it, thanks! About saving the laser from over use, only thing that i don't do is ranging as close as possible. Sometimes i'm ranging even on 10 km (maximum possible range for Vikhrs). 2) and 3) is totally clear I'm doing like that (using my laser as fewest as i can). Ok. I know that way with damaging wheels. But i will really appreciate any fix of ED with repairing. Maybe i send support ticket to ED :) BTW which file contais script with overheating? Someone know? Obviously if there is stated that I shouldn't edit that file, of course i won't do that. But if I can, where it is? I was searching in Mods/Ka50/Scripts. But I can't find it. Regards. -

Yes yes, i know it has been mentioned on forum plenty of times, but i really can't find a good answer to fixing that laser. I know this formula of cycles, i'm not going out of it - usually i'm overburning my laser (it doesn't count from 3 or 8 to 0, it switches from 1 to 0 - i'm sure it burned out). Also my laser ALWAYS overburn after returning to FARP and rearming. For me it's obviously bug. I tried it a lot of times. I can't repair my chopper due to no battle damage. Also my helo don't want to (CAN'T) respawn at FARP after spending on it 3-4 minutes. I tested that with Georgian Oil War campaing. Is there any possibility to fix that? Go into some .lua files and change that time of cooldown? 30 minutes is really too much. I know that wouldn't be realistic, but I really prefer to enjoy destroying targets with gun and Vikhrs than just wait that half an hour at FARP... :helpsmilie: Thanks for any help. -

Hi. Very nice tutorial, easy to understand everything :) But I tested it in Georgian Oil War mission A3.4 Wingman ignores my commands, I.E. I did everything like in your tutorial, he affirmes my command (Target by type, i wanted to destroy by him one T72 tank),he starts going low and hover, doesn't want to engage the target :doh: Is there possibility that many IR threats in this mission making him impossible to engage this tank or maybe this is caused by mountaing terrain??? EDIT: For me better for wingman than Datalink is "Engage my target" Works like a charm. Few AI safe approaches and engaging with Vikhr succesfully destroying target. I'm ending with that useless monkey AI datalink. -
Yea, but how to deal with ZU-23 closed? I tried to kill it with Gun, this is nearly impossible (or i just shitty aimed :P)

Any possibility to remove that clouds??? This is really unrealistic and it is harder for me to play with that. PS. Can someone guide to the topic where is spoken how to deal with AAA with black shark? Also I thank you if you guide me somewhere dealing Georgian Oil War with BS. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for explaining that :) But I think, that better is to state in the guide: "Max Effective range: FROM-TO" This should dispel any doubts. Like you said, that range is affected by MANY factors. So i think that also should be implemented in guide - not 1 meaningless value. Regards. -

Elevation of Igla was 15 meters above sea. So he shouldn't be able to shoot me down. But he hit me. Strange... Again, I checked that with many different altitudes (3000m, 3100m, 3300m, 3500m...) -

Checked it with SU25T I checked if Sa-18 (or Igla) has maximum effective altitude of 3000m of engangment. And it HASN'T So this tutorial is incorrect. Igla can shoot down plane flying EVEN on altitude of 3500m. So this tutorial need to be corrected, because if you fly above igla at 3100m and you think that you're safe, you're wrong! I don't know if that is wrong in this tutorial, or in-game. I tried to flying above igla on 3300m (With immortality, i wanted to check if that is correct) and what happend? SAM LAUNCH with hit... Or maybe i don't understand something. If i'm saying something wrong, please correct me. Regards.
