As the title says.
Like with the helis, would be a neat feature.
PS: and the ability to stow/unstow the boarding ladder via ground crew radio comms in the Hornet.
Regards,
F.
Tes! And we need it for prop wash too!

Since the new Strike Eagle is out by Razbam and it has some amazing things too it like wing/tail flex and jiggle/buffet etc. Can the F-15C also get anything like that for it? I think it sorely also needs over wing vapor and vortices

There is a bit of a gap for those wanting to learn a high performance warbird, and I think the TF-51 would fill the role exactly as it did for the USAF and others during the late 40's and 50's. It would also be a great way to give people "rides" to experience DCS without a pay barrier to bring more people into the community. Just my thoughts.
I wholly agree with this! Just needs a copy and paste of a rear pilot model and view for someone in the backseat. It can also be used in missions for things like WW2 era recon or something!

Can we please have more Air refueling tankers which are unique to China? Like the YY-20 based on the Y-20A? Or also the H-6U?
YY-20
H-6U
It's also been quite q while since we've seen or heard of any updates on the CAP. Is there anything new inbound to DCS?

I mean in DCS though. India is lacking units. I guess they can borrow the generic Su-30 at least. MiG-29 and Mirage 2000 are wrong versions as far as I know. We have the MiG-21 but no Bisons.
To be fair, India did have standard Su-30s for a while which i believe they had on lease till the Su-30MKI came out. Also if I'm not mistaken, on the Russian forums they were discussing adding the Su-30SM, MKI, MKM etc as AI assets to the default game too!

I was flying on Enigma CW server the other day, and looking at the hexagons it gave me an idea. Why not there be an option to create an overlay similar to that, where the entire map gets covered in Hexagons or similar shapes?
You can then designate these shapes or areas to various coalitions/factions and anything that falls within them be it an airbase, city, plant, structure etc falls to that faction or coalition. They also don't have to be only hexagons or squares, but can also be varying blocks or regions depending on the sectional maps and borders of various countries on the map.
You can also relegate this overlay to the entire map, or only to the mainland, or just the sea, or even various islands! This could be an excellent tool for both Single player or multiplayer. And you could maybe have units pre programed to go to various areas based on the shapes and their current status.
For instance, if a shape goes from red to blue, the ground units will now auto advance till the reach the border of that shape and start firing on enemy units in the next shape

Hell yes! I think this is definitely needed!

Instant purchase from me. I did suggest to CheckSix the Aussie Mirage IIID and IIIO, but, they seem to hate conversations about suggestions and ideas. I do think that having both in the same module would be a huge success, more so if DCS is expanding in the Cold War period (which it is) and if there are more Asian maps to come out.
This might appear that we are going off topic but I don't think so. This line of conversation, and any other that people want to start, reinforces the validity of this area of the world as a DCS map.
If I'm not mistaken, Razbam did once showcase the 3D model of a Mirage IIIJ or something a few years ago. So it might already be in the works with them

I gotta say some of these features are truly next gen on the F-4, like the character customization, the model/components wear and tear, Jester 2.0 etc! Besides that other HB models like the F-14, Viggen etc will also in time be upgraded with these features, is there any plan for any of these features to be implemented by ED?
Will any other 3rd party devs use any of these for their modules?

Just curious as it's been a while since a bunch of AI units were announced way back in 2019 and such. Wondering if there's at least some progress on them if no releases yet

The problem with that idea is that literally the JF17 uses the same radar, same tgp, same displays/avionics the early J-10. So unless you posit the JF17 is too classified or "made up" then it should be in the realm of possibility. All you really need is FM data which may or may not be out there somewhere.
Interesting. Well lets say maybe the J-10A might be possible but who knows

A full Fi J-10 would be great. Lots of similarity systems wise to the JF-17 for the early ones. But I kinda doubt it.
Trying to make a full fidelity J-10 would be like trying to make a full fidelity J-15 or even F-22. Systems are far too classified for that plus Chinese government would be too strict

Do you think you can make a Tu-4 bomber for both the Soviet Union/Russia and China? And also the KJ-1 Awacs variant? This would make an excellent asset for Cold War era ops!
