  1. Got mine fixed. Pulled it a part and cleaned it. @Sokol1_br The F10KV looks very similar indeed. The one in mine is B104. Any idea where I could get them to buy?
  2. Interested as well. The slider on mine only works from 0-525 now. Would love to find a replacement pot.
  3. @AeroGator Done. http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2737
  4. @rrohde I've noticed something pretty interesting with the calibration of the Gunfighter. During the day, the calibration of the x axis is perfect, but during the early morning, it's always off by 20 to the right. I'm not sure why it happens, but it's only the x-axis. My best guess would be the cold air contracting the clutch but the center position hasn't changed so who knows. Who be nice if the VKB HQ has some info on this.
  5. I've been flying a lot more in X-Plane and P3D these days and I mainly have it there because I'm so used to such a big deadzone from the warthog. DzLo at 1 feels a little too sensitive for those sims. In DCS it's great though!
  6. I use #10 cams, 2x #40 springs on X-axis, 1x #40 & 1x #30 on Y-axis. I have a little dry clutch to reduce the oscillations on release but not enough to cause the grip to stick in small movements off center. I also use a deadzone low (DzLo) value of 3.2. This setup gives me a perfect return to center.
  7. Thanks for pointing that out. It was due to me sorting out the re-centering. It's fine now.
  8. Here's a quick update. I went back to the #10 cams after messing with the dry clutch a bit more. Works great with the Cougar grip now! :pilotfly: Here are few pictures with the setup I've settled on (this might also help anyone new to VKB devices): After loading the VKB config tool you'll be greeted with the Global page. The area underlined on the Common tab specifies how many buttons and hats are on your grip. In my case, the Cougar grip has 18 buttons and 1 hat. The Warthog has 19 buttons for those using that grip. With Common -n- Axes tab on the profile page, you can configure the axes however you like. I went ahead and disabled the Z axis in my case. You can also set deadzones for each axis as well on this page. I've set Dz Lo to 2.2 and Dz Hi to 1 which works well for how I have the dry clutch set with the #10 cams. If you find the stick movements to sensitive, you can change the MPL for the axis from 10 to 9 and re-calibrate. Note, if you set it lower you'll prevent the stick's output data from reaching max deflection. On buttons tab, buttons can be assigned however you'd like. I have mine mapped normally. Be sure to check the Poll tick box to see which button is being pressed. On the logical layer tab, you can see what each button does and what button number it's assigned. Here's a shot from joytester with the response when the stick is release from deflection. Not too bad with only just a little bit of the dry clutch applied. Really loving this stick! :D I've attached my profile, if anyone wants to use it. GF_BB_Cougar.cfg
  9. Here's my quick experience so far. Disclaimer: I've only used it for only a few hours. Setup Getting things ready is pretty easy since there's not much assembly to be done. If you bought the WH adapter however, then you're gonna have to do a little work. I had swapped out the #20 springs for 2 #40 springs on each axis. Installing the springs will be a little challenging and is probably the hardest part of the installation, just be sure to have a pair of needle nose pliers on hand. I had to re-seat the nut for the Y axis dampener as it would not tighten no matter how many turns. After removing it and putting it back together, things work as they should. The #10 cam feels amazing! However, with the Cougar grip installed, I couldn't get it to recenter on it's own properly. I thought the dampener was the issue but that didn't make a difference. I ended up using the #30 cam which has a center detent. Software I'm pretty familiar with the VKB config software since I had a Mamba MKI prior, so finding my way around was pretty easy. I ended up setting a deadzone of 1.5 for DZ Lo. That helped me in getting the centering just right and I also changed the axis multiplier from 10 to 9 since the stick behaved overly sensitive otherwise. Please note, do not use Windows to calibrate the joystick. Use the VKB config tool. Just hit start calibration, move the axis around and end calibration. That's it! I re-did the config to match the buttons on the Warthog as the default profile doesn't do this. How does it feel? With the dampening set right, it feels much heavier than the Warthog and there's no stiction! The cams add some feeling of weight as you move the stick around, something the Warthog doesn't do. Overall, I'm happy with it. I might mess around with the #10 cams again some day. :joystick:
  10. Mine was shipped on April 26th, picked up on the 27th by DHL and delivered on May 1st in Miami.
  11. To my surprise, mine arrived in Jamaica early! Picked it up this morning. Exciting times ahead! I'll try and write up a mini review/comparison with my Warthog.
  12. I have one for sale as well: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=185236
  13. I'm so excited for mine to be in my hand! It's gonna be a long week of waiting until I get to pick it up on Saturday. :joystick: Keep the pictures/videos coming!
  14. I had reserved mine from January and paid 6 hours after the ordering page went live, so I think they're handling the reserved orders first. I'm sure you will have your tracking numbers soon. My order has to make an extra trip from FL before it reaches me here in Jamaica. So I won't have it in my hands until the 6th. By then, reviews will probably be flooded in this thread :D.
  15. I got my tracking number yesterday. Expected delivery is May 1st.
