I have also been struggling with stutters since 1.2.4. At least in MP. So is it recommended to cap at say 30 or is it hit and miss ?

Nice vid and explanation of the system. Cleared up a few things for me.

I can live with not having the full set of ATC options I just wish I could hear other flights communicate with the tower. I remember that Falcon 4: AF ATC radio comms really immersed you when hearing seceral flights in the pattern.

It was quite a unique and very interesting experience which I have never encountered in other sims. FSX had a way to simulate failures but you had to set it manually so it was not terribly surprising when you encountered a failure.

Is engine fire a random failure ? I was just taking off in a qucik mission when the left engine fire warning went off. My stress level increased to the max but managed to shut down the engine and fire off 1 extinguisher. Was surprised how stable the aircraft flew even with a full combat load and only 1 engine. Did have to emergency jettison stores in the end as the plane was too heavy. I'm wondering if it was a random failure or I got hit. There was a couple of enemy aircraft in the vicinity. Should have saved the track but didn't think of it then.
