I would just like to thank ED for implementing radar display on SAMS,the above picture is just what I would like CA to be.I also expect you will draw in additional support from those who like playing SAM-SIM. This has restored my faith in this module,sometimes I often had the feeling that it was the black sheep of the family and though it was overlooked regarding updates or any kind of improvement.Thx
  2. Tanks do have stabilization,pressing the V key you will notice the little carrot cue turns red next to your heading display,pressing V again it will turn black,stabilization off. My biggest gripe atm with tanks the rounds never hit the same place,even though the turret has never moved.It either veers to the left or to the right by a big margin,hope one day we get the ability to lase then shoot like an M1 should.

I agree sgtmike,the motor only burns for a short time,I had a feeling that the latter glow was for tracking and a visual cue for the operator,but could not be sure,thanks for the additional info. A little more stabilization would be welcome and maybe cut down on the smoke left by the initial burn?.
  4. I agree with Spudman,TOW missiles do jump around a little,although i can attain about 95%hit ratio.I think the missile flight could be tightened up a little. The way the missile flight is now reminds me of some of the ATGm's used in Syria,the first is not a TOW,but the second video is. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=83f_1365882440 I tried to pick the best videos to depict missile flight and motor burn so its easy to track.     Sure pepin1234,the way the sim/module is now (CA)I think the SAM units could have a little more edge when detecting aircraft.Having to manually track something at a range of a few km is a real pain,but when these units are under AI,the AI engages at a far greater distance? I know it's impossible to implement every feature or turn ideas into some kind of wishlist,I totally respect your post and will continue to use and enjoy CA,thanks for your reply. Looking forward to the next update

    Some of the multiplayer servers don't have anything enabled when in F10 view you only get the map view and that's it,so trying to figure out where enemy fighters are it's near impossible to track especially if your a ground unit SAM. Its hard enough trying to visually track something say at a distance of over 5 km,if the jet is going over 400-450 this leaves a window of only seconds to identify track and launch.
  7. Saying as I only play CA,this patch is totally unplayable.I'll take the tank M1A1,where is the lead cue for aiming?,how on earth you supposed to judge distance to target? I can't lock any target up so the computer doesn't give me distance to target,that in turn makes the distance markers on the gun sight useless? What about the SAMS,I cant lock anything up,so how can i shoot anything,I'm sorry guys but no word from anybody and its been days now,this is unacceptable. Ive' paid for a product that is rendered useless,1.23 worked fine,now after 1.24 this module is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. The thing that annoys me,not one word from anyone,not one jot.you have my money but I have no working product.

    Whilst I like this part of the simulation having to rely on visual tracking on all SAMS is pretty unrealistic.I know first and foremost this is a flight sim,but if you offer a module that portrays realistic vehicles but not the sytems it's all downhill.   9. No target lock from M1A1 Automatic transmission sucks,better to disable in options. T72 AT missile reload time.2 fired in under 20 seconds.....cmon,cough-cough. Can i roll back to 1.23? 1.24 is unplayable. what were the beta testers thinking of???.

  12. I can obtain a lock with VulcanM163,but cannot lock on with Avenger or Chaparral to any air targets.If i put the unit in autopilot the AI will fire missiles,but expends all missiles on one target,a bit like ver 1.23 that the ai uses all mavericks on the same target. updated to 1.24
  13. You know..... I had a feeling that someone would reply with that answer,I feel a right tool. I guess the label that reads Download was a bit of a clue.:) Really appreciate the fast reply,.......but i have another problem now. I played CO for hours last night without a problem,this morning all my KA 50's are orange. I'm guessing at missing textures but have no idea how to put this right. I don't own the KA 50 module just CO and the free SU 25,do i have to pay for skins? Many thank's again Daz

  15. Thank's for the advice Aeroscout,if it's a new cpu im thinking core 2 duo? Lol yeah i'll keep away from vista atm,i'll wait until thing's get a little better:) My pc is getting long in the tooth now,as long as i dont turn on AA or AF it gets ok frame rate at 1600x1200 most games/sims. I cant keep up with upgrading every 6 month's or so:),i suppose that's the price you pay if you want to play all the latest stuff with all the eye candy. Thank's for the swift reply,it's appreciated.
