  1. First thoughts , just picked up my Oculus S from Best Buy today , definitely an improvement over CV1, everything much clearer especially cockpit which is the most important to me....stuttering seems aircraft dependent , no stuttering on same setttings F/a18 as compared to f14, well worth the upgrade, I have a IPD of 67.5, didn’t really notice any difference , set software IPD to 66. FOV barely different, increase in clarity well worth the upgrade. Also better fit for those of us that wear classes. miss the headphones , but I run my rig in a recording studio so just use my speakers. In ears great option for those that want headphone isolation.
  2. bind com1 and com 2 to tbe throttle, then u can program frequencies in mission editot, use the com switch on the panel to set pre zet frequency
  3. Been following this thread since i pre ordered the vive when it first came.out. The pixesl density always bugged me in terms of reading cockpit controls etc. As the Persian Gulf and Hornet came out I noticed the vive.cockpit and stuttering became worse. I just caved in and bought a rift to compare and discovered that everything runs so much smoother, hornet instruments easier to read and better frame rate on high settings. Since I only use VR for DCS i gave my Vive to my son and am now a rift convert...
