COME ON, MIC ME!!
-
Same issue here.
-
Airports turn their lighting on when called via the DCS comms menu, did you try to raise the carrier on the freq and announce your intent to land?
that should not be required. If this does work, there needs to be a fix from ED.

Hi Strikeeagle345, The above pic refers to the Shapeways´s afterburner detent or the default TM. Thanks!
Shapeway push through. Sorry. I edited my post.
-
This is for the push through detents (shapeway). F-14 Settings.
-
Use this if you are using a Shapeway push through detent. This will get you the exact numbers needed.

been getting a ton of sliding in the Tomcat and Hornet last couple patches.
-
already a thread covering this:
-
But no mention in changelog about it :-(
Change log has been updated.
-
you need to update your DCS. Open beta was updated today to 2.5.4.29004

So I am amble to repeat a crash where in the hoggit training server and TTI when I switch the Tacan control to RIO followed by a command to jester to switch data link host to CV, then switch Tacan to CV it crashes. steps followed below.
- Get airborn
- setup your ACLS system and get about 5-15 NM out from CV
- switch the pilots tacan control to NFO
- Tell jester to set data link host to "CV"
- Select Tac from radio options
- select CV
- crash
I hope this is something that can be fixed.
You should post this in the Heatblur F-14 forum (bug and problems section)
- Get airborn

I believe it’s AOA.
yeah, but do the colors match the indexer?
Green = Slow
Yellow = On speed
Red = Fast
I have seen blue in screenshots as well, reason for my question.
-
Is there a break down as to what each color for the groove line means on the tap sheet?
-
they are working on fixing this already, as they have this set as confirmed / reported.

Hi I made a flight on the Persian Gulf Map, with the Stennis. Flew out of Sharjah, and landed on the carrier. Released the hook and moved forward but nosewheel steering did not work.
Is it to do with the turning of the landing gear handle, I notice it turned.....don't remember seeing that happen before so will have to play with it a bit...pity really I was so chuffed, and then Jester realised I was screwed and told us to eject,yep...not the final landing I wanted lol....so much to learn
Every time you land, you need to enable Nose Wheel Steering by pressing the NWS enable / Autopilot enable button on your stick.
EDIT: Check for the Yellow NWS Enabled light on the left side of the HUD.
-
No.
Remove / Hide stick option is coming in tomorrows Open Beta update.
-
This possibly have anything to do with fuel imbalance in the left/right side of the jet as shown on the gauges sometimes?
Also this is my 1000th post. Woop.
those are for the feed tanks and are in front and behind each other on the jets centerline. So they wont induce a roll.
-
Are you serious ? l really hope so. heatblur has done a sooo amazeing job with this modüle, l just cant say thankyou anough. and thay are so good to listen to there comunity. hope thay dont listen to the ''balance boys'' its a simulation and all that… :smilewink:
Serious as a stroke...

Had this same issue last night.
-
Sorry one more question, is that the NWS = NOSE STRUT SWITCH?
no, the NWS is a button on the stick. It is something like NWS engage / Autopilot engage.
-
ED wont do a HotFix this close to Patch day.
-
That would explain why you cant see the TID repeater without having the longest neck known to mankind.
Easiest workaround: Option to remove the stick.
option to remove stick will be in tomorrow Open Beta update.
Heatblur plans for pilot's attitude/mindset towards RIOs?
in DCS: F-14A & B
