OK thanks Flappie and others, I synchronized the windows time (last synchronization was 10 months ago apparently) and now miraculously my modules are back up again!

Yes, I'm getting error 500, too. So I need to reset my computer time, as stated in other threads? How to do + where do I see the 'correct' time needed?

Hi community, since the update to 2.7 I have a problem with authentication of several modules I own. Upon game start, I was asked to provide serial numbers, but there are none available for certain modules in my DCS profile page. The modules are still loaded in the module manager but are not usable. Should I delete + reinstall? I bought the Hornet upon early access, for example, but no serial is displayed. Last year I bought the M200C, Huey + Harrier - same thing. Any idea how I can resolve this?

I am a proud owner of a complete Virpil HOTAS since yesterday... I am still having some issues, this isnt a Plug and Play device... But after overcoming the most severe ones (had to reverse throttle axis in-game --- no idea why - and Virpils config Software still gives me very weird values for the left throttle only) I mounted the throttle crudely next to my desk in a still less than ideal position. Joystick with Base between my legs and off we go... Yet I managed to fly the beloved F-5E successful for a few times: Absolutely AMAZING!! So much more precise to fly compared to the T-flight X... I cant believe I waited 2 1/2 years since I got started with DCS to make this investment!! My first strafing run killed several Trucks in a row with heavy turbulence and crosswind... I hardly ever managed that under these conditions! I am flying the Jet with 2 fingers mostly -- its an absolute joy to have this level of precision!! And I dont even have my rudder pedals yet!! To summarize: for anyone getting seriously into DCS, after TrackIR, getting a high end HOTAS is the second most important investment. Dont wait for it, your flying becomes so much better and more enjoyable in an Instant!!

Does the mod also work with the current release version or only with the open Beta? I got it to work with the Beta but I cant get it to show in the release...

EDIT: solved - see below! ______________________ I just installed the open beta 2d ago to be able to fly the Hornet - which works fine BTW - BUT: - in game + in the menus, mission editor, whatever , my mouse pointer is pointing a little to the left of the actual clicking point - therefore it's almost impossible to use, especially inside a complex cockpit like the Hornet's Does anyone have any idea where the problem could originate form? I applied the exact same settings I'm using in the release version... __________________________ Edit: problem sorted out myself - it was the screen ratio or whatever u call it. I've got a single 16:9 screen, in DCS however it says 1.7777778 or something like that - I dont care, at least it works. The Beta didnt detect my screen correctly, so I had to apply the ratio manually and it seems I got a digit wrong, therefore I had this slight mouse offset to the left.

:megalol: ROFL - exactly my thought, I fr***in' HATE Dubai airport in real life - first thing I'll try is bombing it + some of the pompous scyscrapers as well! I hope this works!!

:thumbup: that's exactly my opinion, they are good at their core job, that is: developing modules, but they totally neglect the community - no idea about modern marketing + communication - but I guess we'll have to live with that :)

J-11A / 2.5.1 release? Hi all, I own FC3, currently running 2.5 - I have no intention to switch to a beta temporarily - is there a realease date for the official update? I'm flying the Su-27 / 33 for now and will wait for the official update :D

I went for the 'Shark during the recent sale, as well as Nevada map + Combined Arms as planned... well... as expected, mastering the Shark will be a long-term 'project'... so far I'm happy the module works + I can fly straight (more or less...) - and yes, it's really no big deal without pedals... pedals are the least of my problems with this thing! However, I'll probably speed up getting a proper HOTAS with lots of buttons to map properly, and pedals included of course! As for NTTR, I'm still fighting with my graphics set-up... might have to upgrade my hardware.

Ok thanks - I got Nevada + Combined Arms (downloaded half of the night :music_whistling:) so far and I think I'll go for the Black Shark as well - still got one day left!

KA-50 without pedals? Hi Guys, I'm looking itno what to get during the sale right now... so far I only own FC3 + the f-5E. I got myself TrackIR5 recently, which is a must, should've done it earlier, but so far I am flying with a basic HOTAS - the Thrustmaster Hotas X. It works for me, but a Warthog with all accessories is definitely on my wishlist... Question: I haven't flown a heli in DCS yet - Huey or MI-8 are out, probably too difficult to fly like this, but is the KA-50 flyable with my current configuration (no pedals - just joystick twist or slider on the throttle to control rudders / tail rotor) ? Alternatively I might get the Mirage 2000... Suggestions are appreciated - btw I wish you all a happy New Year + safe landings in 2018! :helpsmilie:

@all: Thx for the competent replies! The throttle problem is fixed, it was as Nightwolf said! I also noticed the radar works fine again, somehow my keyboard commands had been re-set to defaults... And thx also for the advice on cleanup. Merry X-mas + safe landings in 2018! :thumbup:

Thanks Nighwolf, I actually modified my throttle axis recently so that sounds like a possible explanation - I'll look into it tonight!
