Your mission works well. But I'm propably stupid and can't find points 2 and 3 in ME. I'm afraid you will need to explain it to me more in basics... I see points 1 and 4 in triggers. Trigger "Check bridge" is clear. Let's move to trigger "init handler". I have game in different language and I'm translating already translated stuff back to English - I'm sorry about possible inaccurracy (Is there a possibility to change in game language without reinstalling the game?). "Create script file" - I guess we are creating temporary file with script. It is called "DeadBridgeEventHandler.lua". Ok now we have empty script file. "Make a script" - Here I'm lost. I see there only inicialization command "handler.init()" and no connection to DeadBridgeEventHandler.lua nor checking 6 bridge spans or setting the flag. Thanks for your patience!

I can't. It is a bridge over river :D I would appreciate your help. I could use some vid/txt guide or introduction to scripting. Never tried this stuff out yet. Now you can destroy bridge with cannon in that campaing ;)

Hello. I have two problems: 1) How to force AI to attack bridge (or another world structure)? 2) How to make bridge (or another world structure) and objective (to check alive/destroyed)? Second problem is more important to me. I tried to create trigger zone and use Bomb in zone condition but there are only bombs. I need trigger to check Kh25 missile :( I found only this topic from 2008 suggesting to use mod. But it is for DCS version 1.2. I guess it's not up to date anymore. Any ideas? Thank you kindly!

There is possibility to mount 6 Vikhrs and 1 Kh-25s together (one for each outer pylon). Weight is similar so flight is not too affected by weight disbalance. But I can't figure out how to switch bwtween Vikhr and Kh-25. Outer pylon selector will only select one (left one if I recall correctly) pylon. Wonder how to switch to second. Any ideas?

I bought the module. I created a fast mission just try to flight. Goal was to take off, fly a circle around airfield and land. On arcade for first time. Unlike in FC3 there is arade mode pretty big deal. You can actually probably play it just on keybord with it. Too easy even for me. So I created another fast mission on simulation. And ... well game was nice to me. It generated thunderstorm weather for me. Yet I managed took off, do a circle and even land without breaking anything on the machine (*clap* *clap*). I had in mind words of one of youtuber I was watching: "be gentle". Seems to be a good advice! But from this point .... well I still only wondering about something. "Why it does this, I don't want you doing this!", "Come on, why do you turning arond over and over for no reason?", "Hey, why does RPM get under critical level? I can't even maintain the altitute with such low power..." and so on. Actually that last thing I really wish to someone answer for me. I know why it happen. When I'm not very gentle with collective the RPM drops. But I don't know how to fix it. Becase since every time I raise collective above ~50% RPM drops below critical limit. Manipulation with throttle itself seem to have no effect. I even tried to land and shut it completly off, then start it back again with no effect. Is it permanently damaged?

Thank you guys for replies. You actually made me happy. I will buy it when I'll get some free time to spare for it. I don't play MP as I'm scared to meet some real pilots :) I believe I will learn all of it eventually but I don't want to care about all this stuff from the beginning. I like to make things easy at first and then making them more difficult as time passes and my experience grows. So final question: there is "arcade" checkbox in options. How does it change behaviour of Ka50 or it's controls?

I have updated those drivers, have been doing this run-as-admin-stuff and got some improvment in the way that I can now fly more missions before problem appears and game restart is needed. So it's still there just not so critical as before. -
I'm considering buy BS2 but I'd like to ask you a question first. Is in this mod some sort of difficulty settings? I mean how many things you must know/do to be able to do/kill something. For example cold start and take off. I watched some vids and there are quite a few buttons you need to press in correct order. Let's say I don't want to learn use of every button available and don't want to know every system perfectly. I fly FC3 where models are quite simple. When you want to cold start there are about 5 steps to do, not 50. It fits me quite well. Is there a way to achieve similar level of control dificulty in BS2?

Now I don't really understand this game anymore :D Ok, I ran DCS as Administrator and ran it by bin/dcs.exe, not by bin/DCS_updater.exe (icon). It solved menu lag problem but created other, even worse one. First, for some reason game want registration key again. Why does it even requires so I don't understand as pirate check is connection to online account like in every other online game nowdays. When I refuse to insert key (triple times) game starts and connect to online account, everything is there, no problem. However this is just cosmetic issue I don't care much about. But when I enter game the hell begins. I am used to experience low fps freezes in larger missions with accelerated time. Never had any in normal time scale. Now I am on airfield where is nothing and have 4 fps. Few seconds later 20, then 60, then 4 again. Wow. I saw some topics about those issues so I will try to look tomorow. I feel like in my job. Resolving one problem create two others, even worse... :) Ey, and by the way, here is the diag file. Still wondering if there is another way to get rid of those menu lags because I'd rather play with them than with random fps drops for no reason even with significantely reduced graphics settings :/ DxDiag.txt -

BIGNEWY Thank you for you care! I do use BitDefender AV. I just tried to turn it off and fly a mission but no difference. Tell me how can I help you. What data do you need and how can I acquire them. I will try to help anyhow I can. EDIT: Ok, first read, then write I guess... logs attached. It is only files from today. I played only one mission today. Started game, loaded mission in editor, played mission, then checked if problem is there (it was) and exit game. Game crashed as usual when exiting when described probelm is present. TheSnark It is not about being angry but about being flustrated. Let me explain. I do not demand any additional functionality, I demand to not be robbed of it. Plane worked well. It was not very accurate. But this HDD is not only thing that is not accurate about it so why change only this? I have no problem with tweaking stuff. Opposite is true. I like they care about planes even in complete/sold product and they try to make them better. But one should do it complexly not randomly and chaotic. Mainly when you are try to achieve as realistic models as possible. Mig-29 is not only official part of FC3 ("FC3 features the F-15C, A-10A, Su-27, Su-33, MiG-29A, MiG-29S, Su-25T, and Su-25." from official FC3 desc @ http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/flaming_cliffs/), it is there way longer from Lock On: Modern Air Combat (mby even Flanker 2.5, can't now recall so don't want to lie). And is my favourite aircraft since I first flew it. So when someone ruin it I do dislike it. And I want to be heard because when one don't know about problem one can't fix it. Mby ED just didn't realise RSBN is not functional in Mig-29 and they didn't realise they messed up navigation by correcting HDD. So someone should tell them, right? Instead there are lot of people who just justify it. They say "yes, it's correct now, deal with it". Just because they fly other aircrafts and don't care this one. This flustrate me even more. It is not correct. You have now serious navigation issues that you shouldn't have. Navigation is one of most important system in any aircraft! TheFurNinja You can use HSI or HUD for navigation. But there is one important problem with both of them. You don't know to what point your instruments are pointing to. For example in Su-27T you have on your HUD number indicator of selected waypoint (like in F-15 or A-10 or probably any other aircraft with HUD). This indicator is missing in Mig-29. Dunno if this is correct or not but it is that way now. In Su-25 (plane with no HUD, only HSI) you have RSBN panel. It is present but not working in Mig-29. So once you fly a while and then got involved in combat and later turn back to nav you are blind. When you want to approach to other then default airfield you have no idea again. Because system cycle between airfields in pre-defined order but you don't even know where you currently are in cycle and have no way how to learn it. Only thing you can do is guessing. Look at distance to the point and direction, look at your position and guess what waypoint/airifeld is propably your aircraft's instruments pointing to. But then you don't need any navigation instruments. You can just pick compass and map and do it like in WW2.

I understand there can't be all versions of plane available in the game. And I don't mind only repeater in cockpit. What I mind is this: Do you recognize the picture? It is from official FC3 manual. Descripsion of cockpit instruments for Mig-29. It is pretty accurate, here is one from real plane: On first picture, there is instrument in red circle. You can see it has no official pointer with number. That is because it is not included in "simulator". Meaning the panel is dead in the game. And what is it? You guess right. It's navigation panel. Helping pilot to manage waypoints. Similar to Su-25's. But in Su-25 it does work. In Mig-29 it does not (because in original version of FC3 the HDD had nav mode so they probably didn't want to bother with it). Check offcial FC3 manual for Su-25. Cockpit instruments, numer 20: RSBN panel (short-range navigation). This is what Mig-29 is missing currently. So what ED actually did here is they took navigation from HDD off and said "we are simulating real plane and such plane does not have this". But they forgot they does not simulate other stuff that the plane has. And because of this you can not navigate now in Mig-29 realistically. You cannot do it in any way in fact because you have no control over your waypoints midflight. That is what I do mind. They wanted to do it more realistic but ending in less realistic and ruining the plane for players who like it. So ED please, do it properly or reverse your change. Don't do half work.

Well it is not completly true. There are a lots of versions of this plane across the world and some were upgraded in many ways to stay competetive in modern era. Also some Mig-29's from countries previously in SSSR now in NATO have their Mig-29's upgraded to meet NATO standards. Some Mig-29's have even colored multifunction display. For example this is Polish (previously German) Mig-29. Does it look like a simple repeater? You can find more examples across the internet in pictures and even videos. It is true though that most of them propably have only simple repeater. But still approach of developers is quite silly. "Hey, they had only repeater when they left factory so we will keep that and ignore any later upgrades". Well ok, but you just took of the plane's main navigation tool and don't care about compensation. In fact Mig-29 is only plane from FC3 where you have no way to find on which waypoint your navigation is currently pointing on. Even in Su-25 there is a way via stupid diod panel which can show you only first 3 waypoints but you can still count to others with it's help. In Mig-29 you have literally no way at this moment. And I really doubt it is realistically accurate. Strange is, developpers completly ignoring other in my opinion more important stuff, f.e. who can actually fly this plane. Game offers for Mig-29 from NATO's countries only Germany. What the...? Germany have no Mig-29 from 2002. They sold them to Poland. And yet, you can not fly as Polish Mig-29. Slovakia have also Mig-29s. You also can not fly it for this country. But you can pick Mirage2000. Well guess what, they never had any. So please.... This situation is really a shame. This plane deserves better!

Hello. Problem here. When I start game everything is ok and normal. After one mission played everything menu-related is slowed and laggy in response. More missions played without restarting the game worse the situation is. I need to restart the game very often because of this. It is not FPS related problem as I have good machine and flight itself is still smooth and feels unaffected. It is only menu-content related. As we already have L-39 it would be nice to have also it's successor in the game. I think lot of work could be taken from L-39 module. L-159 is similar looking lightweight agile cost efficient and durable combat aicraft with air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities, equipped with modern avionics and NATO's weapons. Hello. Not sure if this is duplicate topic or not. I'm sorry if this is the case but I searched a while and didn't find my answer. Now what is my pain about. You can hide unit from editor map by hidden on map option. That is good becase I don't want pilot to see all stuff that is waiting for him via pre-start mission planning feature. What I have problem with though is this option exclude such hidden object from seeing them ingame via views (f.e. by F2 cycling). I want to avoid this behaviour. Let's see it on example. I want players to be allowed watch battle of ground units via F7 view while they are getting bored by flying some waypoints towards the battlefield. I don't want to let player know their precise position by revealing them on mission map before flight. During flight I can check fog of war or map only, that is ok, but it is not matched with what player can see before mission. I know this feature IS possible, because when you play campaing FC3 F15 it works exactly as I want it in my mission. You have mission f.e. to intercept AWACS. On your mission planner you see only friendly planes (and not even all of them) and no enemy planes. Though in game you can cycle all of planes which currently exists (visible or not) by F2 view. I hope I made myself clear, unfortunatelly my english sux (sorry about that). Thank you for advice! A.
