  1. Is there anyone who CAN wait?:D ... :no_sad:
  2. I don't think there will be playable demo until final release. Why to pay for my impatience? :) It pays to wait ;)
  3. There was a thread "BS release date!!" but deleted in short time by someone...
  4. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=29317 ;)
  5. camouflages What camouflages will be available for the BS? Best would be to see them... :book:
  6. That's exactly how speedtrees work but close/low altitude flybys at higher speed still have high performance demands. Next generation of GPUs surely will be one of solutions ;)
  7. A firm I'm working in is developing a golf sim with speedtrees used in. They looks really good but today one of developers reported me that it is still pretty much load for the hw. So they need to play more with a terrain texture to improve FPS and to keep these nice trees :) When you compare the golf sim to the flight sim from action point of view... you'll get it
  8. C2D E4500 @3GHz 2x1GB 800MHz Kingston onboard VGA intel 3100 so far :D (half a year is pretty long time in the world of GPUs, next ati 4000 series would be an interesting choice...) I'll wait for BS release date and get a best performance/price card :music_whistling: It pays to wait for good things :smilewink:
  9. My question was general to anyone :) rocketeer, thanks for hints!, nice ones! As I'm new here, let me introduce myself a little. Firstly, I could say that I'm a rookie (what a shame :)) ) Long ago my first sim was F-18 Precision strike fighter. I realy enjoyed this sim/game. With LOMAC I have flown just several hours (now take a sit) only with a keybord and mouse :D. Yes it is possible... :pilotfly: Then I left FS world because of less free time since I finished a cllege/got a job. So I never bought/built any equipment for FS. But the Hokum is my "Achilles' heel", it was my first "big" scale model... can't resist any longer... OK, back to topic. As my free time is still limited I don't want to build a cockpit. I'm looking just for any reliable joy/hotas that can nicely control the BS. Head tracking is a sure thing. What are your opinions about these... 1) Top Gun Afterburner II - weak precision? 2) Saitek cyborg evo - throttle(collective) lever usability? 3) Saitek X52 - long term reliability? 4) Cougar Hotas - little expensive 5) any other solutions, I consider myself skilled enough to build any simple lever mechanism to control the collective
  10. may I ask you, what equipment do you recommend for a collective? I read a dozen of reviews and now I'm totally disapointed...
