  1. Hello, i Wonder if this happens and if it does, i would like to know if there are plans to implement it in dcs in the future. I am asking this because i was trying to fight a su 27 in map editor and its missiles totally outrange my super 350(this medium range one has something like 8 milles range, While i have read some su27 missiles have insane ranges).
  2. Fine, thanks! To sum up, bind "Special Modes FWD to V". You can do it also with AFT but FWD mode grants you a circle, which seems more comfortable to start with.
  3. I was looking at this manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3WnVhcm5hTUJOTjg/view and youtube videos. The manual you tell, states this (regarding radar use with Magic 2 missile: If the target is also locked on radar, a smaller circle will appear inside the seeker search area circle indicating that the target is in the NO ESCAPE zone. I can also find this: Close Combat Modes (CCM) Close Combat Mode is a special mode for air to air engagements. In this mode, the radar will be set at a range of 10 nautical miles and it will lock on the closes contact it can detect. What i am really interested is in the key i need to toggle between this CCM, which is what i can not find. Also, this is my first day with mirage2000c, yes.
  4. Hi, can someone explain to me how does this work? As long as i have seen, the official tutorial tells you to use some keys of your hottas to switch between short radar ranges special modes. Others say to use "V" to cicle between them. As my hottas does not have them binded and V is neither binded, i have no idea on how to do this!
  5. Thanks man! I was used to ka-50 where you just pressed once. Noobish question from me :s.
  6. Hi, i am curious if i am not following the process to fire this missile correctly or if it is a bug. Perhaps, i am looking in an outdated tutorial. i follow the process from the manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-uSpZROuEd3WnVhcm5hTUJOTjg/view Part 9-Offence weapons and armament I follow all the super 530d steps, and i reach to the TIR point (double circle in my hud). The only thing it would be missing is getting the launch. But i do not why, my missile never launches. I use space to fire, and have seen it is the correct key in my configuration (launch bombs, missile..). Has anything changed since the tutorial?
  7. Thanks man. I really did not see this one, as i was editing missions from the campaign i told and they worked with R-828.lua, and frequencies should be set in jtac before being able to communicate. Now, as you say R-828.lua is not working, jtac communication frequency must not be set (or seems useless) and the only communication frequency worth is the one you indicate in the Fac mission. All this in the same editor. Having this different logics at the same time, pretty much surprises me, but i guess it is somehow related to the values campaign missions were saved with previously.
  8. I am unable to make this mod work for a campaign i am planning to do. I follow the same exact steps that i found in last mission of this campaign (in the editor): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/267096/ but jtac is unable to contact me. Process i follow is: -Make Jtac invisible -Make Jtac inmortal -Assignate Jtac an indicative. -Assignate a frecuency for Jtac -Start task in route->Fac- attack group. Here i select enemy group, tick the visible, automatic designation and set the indicative to the same as Jtac. Afterwards i fly the mission and try to call him. He appears in my R 828 pannel, but he does not answer. I accomplished a full campaign which used Jtac and it was all correct, so i know how it works (channels and all that) . If it is possible, help me with explanations about how to set it correct in the editor please. Edit: Ok, i have been trying it in the editor with easy comms in order to see how it works, and it is pretty much a mess. It is pretty much random. What i saw in the campaign i mention had it´s logic (you assignate a frecuency to Jtac, and you communicate with him through it). Actually that is not working, it just randomly works with "easy communications" at R-800 radio. So if a assign Jtac 1 a frecuency (30 Mhz FM) and then he sets a task which has that usual 133 Mhz AM at the end, this will only work at R-800 radio. If for example i change that 133 Mhz AM to 30 Mhz FM, i will be able to communicate with him at R-828 at any channel. If i then place Jtac 2 which communicates at 31 Mhz FM, both of them will stop working. I tried to do it without easy communications, and it seems it works in AM frecuency using R-800 radio. Unable to do nothing with R-828 tough, plus assignating a frecuency is useless, jtac automatically can only communicate in Fac´s frecuency.
