MAXsenna's post in Thrustmaster Viper TQS was marked as the answer
Some of the reviews commented about it, and it seems that you can use it as zoom, and there is a button on the underside that's not on the real thing too.
Cheers!

Try this. Remove all mods. Delete the Metashaders and FXO folders under Saved Games. Do a full repair.
Cheers!

Use ST, not supported on MT version yet. I guess it will be even better. So while you wait...

MAXsenna's post in Air to Air Door Slipway was marked as the answer
Not home. Are there keybinds for both open and closed?
If yes, you can do it yourself. Configure your switch for "closed" in they keybinds. Then use the same switch for "open", just change it to be invoked when off, by choosing "any button number off" in the drop down list. Easy!
Would have made a screenshot if I was home.

MAXsenna's post in DCS World open Beta will not start was marked as the answer
Open the Dcs_variant.txt and type in "openbeta" as that's the correct default setting when installing OpenBeta, for creation of the DCS.openbeta folder under Saved Games.
Then try a re-installation, and see if you now can choose the path. It's very strange you couldn't.

MAXsenna's post in "End Mission" (Echap key) either work or fail was marked as the answer
Re-installation is never necessary. Remove ALL mods, slow repair and rename the DCS folder in Saved Games will give you a fresh installation.

MAXsenna's post in Communications menu activating randomly was marked as the answer
Ever used VAICOM with VoiceAttack?
If no,
shutdown DCS, and do a full repair.
If yes,
Make sure VoiceAttack and DCS are both off.
Do a full repair, start VoiceAttack then start DCS, and for the future make sure VoiceAttack is shutdown before opening DCS, and start VoiceAttack before starting DCS.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in comms menu gone was marked as the answer
A full repair only affects the core installation, and nothing in Saved Games.
Quick test will be just to close DCS and rename the export.lua and test.
If you do have VAICOM installed (correctly) but not using it, you might get issues if you're not on the latest version and have hidden the radio menu in the settings.
Upgrade VAICOM and you should be good to go.
Another important step is to always have VoiceAttack closed when updating DCS or VAICOM's way of changing files my come out of sync with the updater.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in Keycaps was marked as the answer
Hmmm, that's an interesting thought.
I bought a couple of cheap Razer Cynosa keyboards that have individual RGB lighting and support macros.
If you pull off the caps, paint the area arouns the caps black, and grind off the top of the caps. You can adjust to pretty much every module.

MAXsenna's post in Preorder Window was marked as the answer
I pre-ordered the Apache on the 21st of November 2021, and it lasted until release. But as we know, it was heavily delayed, so it's not the best example.
Hornet was released when I got back in DCS, and pre-order for the Viper was already out when I got back, too. So I don't know when it started.
Mossie I pre-ordered on the 16th of August 2021. A year, but heavily delayed too.
Hind 7th of June 2021. Gives it more less a year.
Syria 31st of July 2020. Also little over a year.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in Force feedback settings was marked as the answer
Don't change dead zones, curves or saturation.
Your issue is that there's "a bug" in DCS, so you have to open control settings, chose axis, click on the MS FFB2's column, choose FFB settings and then select "swap axis".

Right, that only works on the ground. In the air you have to use the radio(s). Comm1 and Comm2.

MAXsenna's post in Multiple profiles on one machine was marked as the answer
That used to work. DCS would complain about unlicensed modules, but not force uninstall them. Even after free trial it just complains. Are you sure this is what happened?
I do believe you'll get the same notifications about unlicensed modules, even if you use different Windows account on the same computer, because the modules are installed in the same place, unless you go with multiple installations, and different shortcuts.

MAXsenna's post in COMM1 and COMM2 menus gone? was marked as the answer
VAICOM brakes it, I only had to close VoiceAttack and do a repair without starting VA again.
Fixes are in testing.
