MAXsenna's post in Default Head Position in VR was marked as the answer
On flight or on ramp? I don't use VR, but for the Sabre Special menu, there's a setting for raised seat depending on how the landing gear is positioned.
Apart from that, still don't know if this works in VR, you kan manipulate your headposition using the numpad keys together with RCtrl+RShft.
Save with RCtrl+RShft+Num0
Don't know if this helps, test in 2D first.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in No comms menu was marked as the answer
I have the same issue. Even after removing VAICOM I cannot get rid of the wheel chocks, (which are invisible in the F2 view), even when chief says he does it. Chief responds whether canopy is open or not, but you can only hear him if the canopy is open. Have tried to look for a setting for the intercom.
To remove VAICOM, start VoiceAttack and open VAICOM control panel, and deselect "Hide radio menu" (or similar) and "Hide On Screen Text" (if you have checked it). Close VoiceAttack. Do a full repair of DCS, and do not start VoiceAttack again. Only way I can get this moving on the ground is via an air or hot start.
And yes, I have turned off the parking brake, and my wheel brakes are not inverted. 😉
Cheers!

EDIT: Found my error, had to push in the parking brake.

MAXsenna's post in Carrier Taxi Issue was marked as the answer
I experience the same. I believe DCS has "friction fixes" on carriers, and even the friction on ground seems wrong, but it is what it is currently in this version.
It can be managed though, just gentle and quick with the throttle. It's easier once you get moving. Don't remember the English expression for it in physics terms. But the initial friction seems to high, before you get moving.

MAXsenna's post in Key binding HOTAS and Joy stick to 2 aircraft was marked as the answer
You not only can, it's actually mandatory.
Every module needs its own control settings.

MAXsenna's post in Pitch Trim Strange Behaviour was marked as the answer
Yes. It happens for me too. Three different sticks, one is FFB. I use no curves.
I bet it has to do with the issue that you can't use the whole range of the stick.

MAXsenna's post in 10-20 minutes startup time was marked as the answer
Boot times of the PC or start of DCS?
If I were you I'd turn off that AV solution and go with the stock Windows Defender one as a test.
As long as you don't surf any crack/hack or porn sites, don't open any unknown attachments etc. You'll be totally safe.

MAXsenna's post in Force Feedback was marked as the answer
Depends on your expiations.
When you start from cold and dark, the stick is limb, until hydraulics are on. Then the stick will rise. That's it.
Currently, when you trim, the stick will not correct, but this will be corrected later I was told.
Unrealistic behaviour like shooting guns etc. Should not be implemented.

MAXsenna's post in Three position switch for flaps was marked as the answer
Sorry I didn't get that. English is not my first language.
Are you asking for more controls? That's totally redundant when you have a 3 position switch like OP asks for.
Like I wrote it's already implemented, though I mis-remembered the correct name.

Try restart DCS. I've had issues if I fly a day mission just before a night mission. Caucasus though. 🤷🏼♂️

MAXsenna's post in TSD Nav Training Mission Missing Kneeboard Page was marked as the answer
I had the same issue. Had to remove all mods and do a full repair. And I also cleaned out some old redundant kneeboards.
Not sure what solved it, but here you go anyway. 😉

MAXsenna's post in F-86 Outremer Campaign - Runway lights was marked as the answer
Come to think of it. I use VAICOMPRO plugin for VoiceAttack, so I don't use the communications menu.
Wild guess, have you doubled checked that you use RAlt+\ and not only \ while in air?
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in Campaign Progress after Re-install was marked as the answer
Yes, you need to restore your log book.
From Flappie in another thread.
this is about the logbook.lua file, it's in the MissionEditor folder ( C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\MissionEditor\logbook.lua ).

MAXsenna's post in disabling mods was marked as the answer
I wouldn't really call those mods. VoiceAttack is a completely standalone application and has nothing do to with DCS, and doesn't even know about it.
Search for how to uninstall SRS and TacView. Can't remember if you have to do more that rename/delete the export.lua in the \Saved Games\DCS.xxx\Scripts\ folder and the relevant folders under \Saved Games\DCS.xxx\mods\tech
My load times were improved by deleting other mods in the \Saved Games\DCS.xxx\aircraft and \Saved Games\DCS.xxx\tech folders.
Do you have any other real mods?
The best way is actually using a mod manager, as that will uninstall mods by disabling them in the GUI, which makes troubleshooting very easy. Disable all, and then enable one by one the ones you need, to see if enabling one slows the startup time. One can also use a realtime log viewer like BareTail to watch the startup progress. (Pre latest update F-14 sounds took two minutes to load on my system , now it's all good )
I use Open Mod Manager, successor to OVGME, latest update was today.
Cheers!

MAXsenna's post in A-10C Basic Flight Training Campaign by Maple Flag Missions was marked as the answer
All the campaigns from Maple Flag are beeing redone to be compatible with the A-10C II.
The first one is already done, and will show up under "Campaigns" for A-10C II, at least it does for me.
More info can be found in the Maple Flag thread under "DLC Campaigns".
Cheers!
