I will be making an enclosure for all panels if requested including the UFC also eventually USB electronics so if wanted each panel can be a standalone usb device or 3 panels in one device, whatever is required. Within the next couple of days I will start making them, Some of the panels you require I already have drawings for, the other I have to do. I will post them on here for you to view first. Just to make you aware the engraving of the text is designed to be back lit. but you can use it without of course.

Not a problem, do you have any specific ones? or just has they come.

I can make some estimations on the sizes based on the holes for the toggle switches, generally the hole for a toggle switch is 12mm but on the image you can see the nut, this tells me the hole is 16mm. I can use that as a basis to create the dimensions for the rest of the panel. That said to be very accurate I would need dimensions. The upside though most panels are the same width its only the height that has variations. obviously there are exceptions to the rule. I will create some drawings and get back to you. Regards

I already have a few drawing, but I am looking for dimensions.

If I can find accurate drawings I will do.

Last prototype This the last prototype before I start making them for real. It is on solid black acrylic, the finished version will be painted clear.

So I will have to only make custom panels (which is not a problem) but kills the idea of doing 10 or 20 a time.

Thanks for the replies guys. If I am making panels for other people though I need to pick a generic size unless they request a different dimension. So if the predominant size is 12mm I will stick with that,which is the switches I use. Thanks again

I don't know if this is a silly question but I am assuming that the switches used are all of standard widths. When making panels for other people the holes are 12mm top panel and 10mm for the clear panel that the switch bolts too. Are these measurements standard for all toggle switches generally used in cockpit making. glider
