Hey guys, I am pretty new to DCS, about 40 hours in now on the FW190 module, 10 on the P51 5 on the SU27 and 8 or so on the 109. My question is mostly to do with the 190 but partially with the 109 and P51 as well. Basically my issue is when performing a horizontal turn with the 190 generally at around 300-350kph ias I am spinning right out of control violently, this is also present on the 109, however when I attempt this is the P51 it does not happen, it will just turn and turn and turn. What am I doing wrong? If this is simply an issue with the two German planes what is it in the design that causes this? Thank you. I can not even count how many times this happened just as I get an enemy in my sights.

Are there any plans for any of the FW190 A series planes? Specifically the A8? I would love to see the option to have 6 20mm cannons.

I feel stupid asking this, but is there a guide for how to install this mod?

If electronics are a downside in an aircraft there hasn't been a good one since the 50's.

Is it realistic the way you can hear a plane coming up on your six from .8km away? It seems to me that I can hear a threat behind me before they are in firing range and gives me an advantage that I do not think is true to life. Talking WW2 fighters here. This is a double edged sword as I am flying the FW190 right now, so my tactic is to dive to gain speed, come up on the rear, lower if possible and blast with guns when I am within .4km of the target. But of course he can hear me and pull off. On the other hand when I am cruising at altitude I can hear fighters that zoom up to my rear and lower, even If I can not see them I know to turn off and every time I have been right, I don't always survive, since I can't manage to escape a P51 very well and they can always try and engage a turn fight that I always seem to lose, however I am new. My issue is, it seems it would be a loud place in those cockpits and you would not be able to hear an enemy plane, maybe if they where 20m behind you but certainly not from almost half a km away. Thoughts?

Hello everyone, I have put about 20 hours into this game, just trying to learn the basics. I come from war thunder and have played a little IL2:BOS. Currently I can takeoff and land a FW190, BF109 and SU27. However I need a lot of help, I have no idea how to make use of the map or waypoints, I know very little about how to use the electronics on the SU27 and generally need a helping hand through the game. I am using Track IR5 and a Saitek X52 pro HOTAS setup. I can use teamspeak, Is there anyone who may be able to help me out? Be willing to spend some time helping me and fly some missions with me? If so please reply to this and we can work out the details. I am on pacific standard time. P.S. if this is the wrong section of the forum please direct me.

I am sorry for sounding stupid but is the steam version 1.5 or 1.2? Will modules purchased in steam transfer over to the standalone version 2.0? Thanks and sorry for the stupid question.
