I don't think this is the case, I took care to load the wingmen with the A.I. versions of the missiles. The strange thing is that in another mission where all the Viggens are A.I. (and I fly a Su-33 defending the convoy) they fire the missiles with no problem :huh:

I made a mission to test a Viggen attack on a group of ships, but my 2 wingmen don't release their missiles, they just follow me all the way to the target and back to the base, they don't even answer to my radio messages. I enclose the mission file, can anybody tell me what's wrong? Test navi battaglia.miz

bombs release Mmhh, I guess I didn't understand well the bombs release in the Skyhawk. I had 6 bombs in my ventral pylon and I wanted to drop 4 with an interval. I set quantity at 2, desired interval and ripple release at pairs. But all 6 bombs where released :huh: -

1) set the Slyhawk and another flyable plane on the carrier, both as "client". Set the Skyhawk as "take off from parking hot". 2) Start the mission and jump first in the other plane. Then hit Esc and Choose Slot and jump n the Skyhawk. 3) The Skyhawk will start to move slowly backwards, so hold your brakes until you open throttle taxing to the catapult point This works for me :) -

Some objects like fuel tanks and ammunition depots are only visible when you get quite close. Is there any way to increase the distance of visibility?

I haven't been flying the AV8 for a while, and after the various updates I have some problems. First, when I select the EHSD page on the MPCD I get immediately the new moving map which I don't want for now (I find the navigation data barely visible in that background). After reverting to the black background and selected the WYPT option, the EHSD doesn't give any info on direction and distance to the selected waypoint: the waypoint bearing pointer stay fixed with no regard to my course changes, and the distance to the waypoint never changes. Of course, the INS knob and the HUD display are on the NAV position. Am I doing anything wrong?

Mmmhhh, it could be something like that. No full steam, but I was well over 900 kmh. At lower speeds handling is (of course) much better. Still, I find other similar PFM planes in FC3 (F-15, Su-27 and 33) much more responsive than the Mig.

When the limiter is on, the plane is almost unsensitive in the pitch ax. Does the real Mig-29 fly like that? I find very hard dogfighting in these conditions. And the override command doesn't seem to work.

I made some new test and it seems that the AGM65D works well, while the problem regards H and K type, which absolutely cannot lock moving targets and lock below 2 nm still targets. It's a Caucasus winter map, maybe the snow has something to do with that? I also noticed that H and K don't have the "stand by" phase but they are immediately ready as they are selected...

Following Chuck's Guide procedure I find impossible to lock moving targets after 2.5 update. I made a test with a still target and it locks only when I'm closer than 2 miles, instead of around 7 miles before the update. Has anybody the same issue?

Lasing works well in your mission, the difference is the JTAC vehicle that I used and was working in 1.5 but not in 2.5, thanks for your help. But still I can't open the canopy using the LCtrl+C command as in 1.5, has anyone else noticed that?

I also tried to rewrite the mission in the new editor but nothing changed, after the data readback I get the message CLEARED TO ENGAGE and the first option of the F12 menu is "ATTACK COMPLETE" and not "LASER ON". Everything still works fine in 1.5. Can you post your mission file to see what is different? I also noticed that the canopy cannot be opened with LCtrl+C command....

After the update in the same mission I can't get anymore the lasing command from the JTAC unit. I can contact them but they don't even give me any more the laser code. Any clue?

I placed four RB04E's in FFG 11540 Neustrashimy's belly in two consecutive missions, and I didn't get the least damage...is it normal? :huh:

Folowing Chuck's guide I wanted to create a pop-up point at 9 km from target. I made several tests but I couldn't get the position I meant: First test, at 120 deg.from target (B3): I digited 120090 - B3, and the following pics shows the position of the point U3 (A), while the small red circle is where the point should have been (the red arrow is the direction of flight) Second test, at 10 deg. from target (digited 010090 - B3) Third test, at 210 deg. from target (210090 - B3) I can't see any relation in the three tests. According to Chuck's guide the first three digits should determine the position from the target's point of view, but it doesn't seem to work...

I made a test mission setting the waypoint B3 in the editor just over the target, a group of tanks. But when I fly the mission, I always get the release message much earlier than the target, as if the waypoint were in another place...:helpsmilie:

Yes, I understand. I deleted the mission and built a new one, changing apparently nothing. Now it works, but there is a huge FPS decrease when the ship opens fire to the incoming missiles -
I made a test mission with air start attacking a couple of tankers with RB04E's and everyhthing ran fine. Also the training mission for attacking ships included with the Viggen module was ok. Then I made a mission with ground start attacking Admiral Kuznetsov and it crashed both times I tried it, one just before and one just after the rocket's launch. Any clue?
