  1. I'm planning to get 2.0 with Nevada map combined with the Huey, special offer. Just to be sure, when I'll be on 2.0 will I still be able to play online with friends still running 1.5?
  2. Do you mean that I can couple a Thrustmaster joystick with a Saitek throttle? I didn't know that.
  3. May I ask you what's your joystick and what's its average life? I use a Saitek X52 and I feel fine with it, but after about 12 months some axis start to "swing" and I have to send it for assistance. Consider that I've been flying mosty as a bomber in Cliffs of Dover so the joystick wasn't so much solicitated as in a fighter. Is it normal?
  4. It looks like that was the case, thanks. Now missions start with nose wheei blocked, I just don't know how things changed in one day.
  5. Suddenly my Saitek X52 joystick doesn't work any more on Su-27...when I test it before flight stick and pedals in the cockpit move very slowly, and rudders elevators and ailerons don't react at all. The front wheel doesn't steer either. Still throttle works perfectly, and I have no problems with Su-33, Mig-29S and F-15. I checked the controls settings but I didn't change anything from last time Flanker was working smoothly. Any clue?
  6. In a few simple single missions AI aircrafts don't fly at the speed that I set in the editor. I set 350 kn for a group of F5E but they fly at 277, and 400 kn for F16 and F18 but they fly at 317. They are all at 15.000 ft with full load. Is it normal or is there anything wrong?
  7. Starting from an airfield, if I choose "starting from ramp" the aircraft spawns in the parking spot with all systems off, but if I do the same on the carrier it spawns with engines already on ready for take off. Is there any way to have on a carrier the same starting procedure as in an airfield?
  8. As last one arrived here I can't hold to ask for my favourite aircrafts :). I'm very fond of second generation jet fighters, maybe because they were the ones I was dreaming about in my childhood. I liked a lot of them but there are three that I would really like to fly: F100 Super Sabre (not a surprise if you see my avatar :)) Hawker Hunter A-4 Skyhawk Dreaming costs nothing :music_whistling:
  9. Everything runs perfectly now, thanks for the tips
  10. As a matter of fact, used cars from me have always been a great deal :). I'll test tonight the tough way.
  11. These are two tracks. Tonight I succeded only once in taking off with undamaged tires, but I really don't know what I made different :). I also tried a couple of times without afterburner, but the take off run is much longer and tires blow off the same. It looks like the tires blow off at around 320 kmh, but my plane takes off much over 400 kmh, which really seems too much, I must make something wrong. I also tested the Mig-29S without any problem. By the way, isn't it possible to see the airfield number in the Su-27 and Mig-29 when cycling them in navigation RTB mode? Su27TO.trk Su27TOa.trk
  12. I fly my test missions at Krymsk airfield, I taxi very slow to the beginning of the runway, I stop and then I take off
  13. At first take off I gave power with brakes on (as I do with Su-25T), then I didn't use any brake......what do you mean as inverted brakes? I don't think they were engaged as I was taxing smoothly.
  14. Following the training video I pulled the stick at around 250 kmh, but wheels left the ground quite over 300 kmh.
  15. I've searched the forum and I found something, but honestly I haven't understood if it's a bug.....my tires blow at every take off just before to get airborne, with my Su-27 unloaded. Is there any way to prevent this? I have the FC3 module on DCS 1.5.5
  16. It's working fine, thanks everybody
  17. Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I've been flying for 5 years on WW2 sims, mainly Cliffs of Dover with great fun, and now I decided to move to modern era jet planes as well. I got DCS World a couple of weeks ago and I started practicing on the Su-25 T; I find this sim really fantastic and I'm looking forward to be good enough to get some other module! At the moment I'm practicing building some simple mission to test navigation and various bombing modes. My question is about the payload: in my missions I use to test one or two weapons at a time, so I don't need to take off with full load. But almost all of the preset loads that I can find in the rearm menu are for full load, making the aircraft very heavy and hard to get airborne. Is there any way to choose only some of the weapons of a preset load?
