  1. Thank you GG :)
  2. Thank you, now for the next question.. What is the preferable notch speed for a Ka-50 to minimize your chances of being detected?
  3. what do you mean by use "notch"?
  4. To be honest I don't really see this as a feature that was worthy of adding.. It defeats the whole purpose of localization and when your playing online you don't always have a choice of sides :/ This is going to be annoying imo.
  5. I installed this last night as per the instructions but for some reason there was no sideslip indicators on either ADI. There was also no aircraft symbol on the backup :/
  6. Awesome, thanks guys :)
  7. Hi guys, I have an old version of Lock-On Gold from ages ago when I bought a previous computer from Dell. I would like to buy FC2 but I have heard that the the particular version of Starforce in use on the lock-on gold disc has a tendency to destroy cd/dvd-r drives. Is this true? If so i will go through the motions of buying a different copy. The last thing that I want to do is destroy my dvd-r drive. Thank you, Fiddlestx
  8. I've really been enjoying this game and getting to know all the different systems. I have a question though. I have a friend who only likes to play it in game mode where as I prefer full sim mode. Is it possible to host a multiplayer match where I can fly in sim mode and he can fly in game mode? I know you can enforce a particular gametype but can't figure out if it's possible to have mixed game types. Thank you, Fiddlestx
  9. The frequency channel is already monitored and sent over the network for datalink usage so iwould assume that it's either monitoring the packet flow or reading whatever file that it temporarily stores it in.
  10. In windows 7 and probably vista as well, it's loccated here: C:/Users/"username"/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/ProgramFiles(x86)/ Your best off searching for the filename "players.lua" it or a folder called Ka-50. In XP it'll probably be buried somewhere in the Documents and Settings folders. Hope this helps.
  11. Is there any chance that a US retailer is going to be getting them back into stock?
