  1. Not sure how to delete this. Please disregard.
  2. I'm not sure what I did, but I just flew three one hour flights with no stutters or freezing. I've been flying 1.5.8 since 2.5 released because of the freezing problms. I have kept up with the DCS updates and have the latest Nvidia drivers installed. I run three screens at very high settings, now with no FOV issues. I do have a pretty robust system though; 4790K @ 4.4Ghz, 1080Ti with 11Gb VRAM, 32Gb RAM, Win 7 Pro 64 BIT, dedicated ssd for DCS and seperate ssd system disk. I don't know how, but it suddenly just works, and It's beautiful. I'll post my Nvidia settings and DCS video setup tomorrow. Don't know if it will help anyone. Already shut down and headed to bed.
  3. I'm really very sad to see this problem contiues to plague the new engine. I have updated my installation while continuing to run 1.5.8 hoping 2.0 will be fixed. I just tested the most recent update and was very excited to see the performance I was getting. I had 122 FPS, using 8.8 Gb VRAM, 24% RAM and only 15% CPU. Then, it froze. Everything else (DCS 1.5, IL2 BoX, CoD, FSX, P3-d, RoF, X-Plane11) runs beautifully in 3x1 on this rig. I'm sorry to say that I've stopped using DCS and may not come back until this is resolved. VR is still too low-res and after flying on 3 screens with head tracking for years, I can't get used to the narrow field of view on a single screen. I have a lot invested in DCS, but won't spend another dime until this is fixed. I remain hopeful.
  4. I have 1.5 installed also. Did you have to remove all traces of DCS or just the 2.5 installation. I'd hate to remove 1.5 unless it's necessary to get 2.5 working. Thanks Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. Still haven't found a silver bullet I've gone back to 1.5 to wait it out. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  6. Temporary work around I've been running DCS on 3 monitors for years. Unfortunately, I have the same freezing problems many others have with 2.5. But, I can run it without freezing if I set the resolution in the settings menu to 1920x1080 and run it in a window rather than full screen. I get occasional stutters, but it's really smooth at a consistent 60 fps. I hope this is a temporary fix, but at least I can run it. It really is beautiful and I hope it is corrected in time for the Hornet's arrival. I've tested this with a mission including almost 100 AI aircraft while running the Windows performance monitor. My CPU utilization never exceeded 15% and memory never exceeded 60%. So, it doesn't look like a system resource problem. Win 7/64 i7 4790K @ 4.4 GHz 16GB DDR3 1080Ti
  7. Everything seems to work for me, but I need to enter the pattern length in meters. Although the field displays the pattern length in feet, it sees my input as meters and converts it to feet. Enter 1000 and the field will convert to 1640.
