  1. I can't upload photos from the phone, but as soon as I downloaded base DCS and tried to start it on CLEAN Windows install, exact same 2 errors from post 1 came up. AISuite on main drive is uninstalled, obviously I have nothing on second one. Here's the log from 3rd time I tried starting and made it to main menu. Afterwards, I've disconnected all audio devices, no difference. dcs.log
  2. @StevanJ interesting find. I've only ever had AIsuite for fan control, but I have uninstalled it earlier today. Can I somehow remove DIP now or should I reinstall AIsuite? I'm currently downloading DCS on the secondary SSD that I freshly installed windows on, with all other drives disconnected. Only windows and Chrome are on this, I did not touch anything else.
  3. I downloaded it an hour ago. Is there ANY way of seeing when certain file is being used by something to see if there's a conflict? In this case WorldGeneral.dll?
  4. First time I did it, I backed up what I needed, created a USB Windows install media, ran through the process of installation and completely wiped the drive Windows was being installed to. Nothing remained from old install. Currently, I'm moving data from D drive to one of HDDs to install another copy of Windows.
  5. I've never used Autodesk nor did I have a need for such software, so not sure why that's even in the story? I'm still working on freeing up my D drive, so feel free to throw the ideas around. At this point, I do not have desire or funds to throw around more money for DCS.
  6. I'm giving you what I get, which is pretty well zero or same thing over and over again, sorry I can't do much more.
  7. I've done everything you suggested, this PC is useless to me without my headset, so that has to stay, even though I've tried with that software uninstalled, I have removed anything that is RGB related, disabled it on the motherboard in BIOS, I have removed AISuite I've used for fan controlling and set fans in BIOS instead. I have removed all audio software and reinstalled only the driver from motherboard home page. I don't know what Autodesk is, so I don't see why that would even be present on my PC, I have tried searching in programs, did not find it. I will now try to clean up my D drive SSD to use to install another copy of Windows on it and when I boot it, I will unplug all other drives.
  8. Already checked, it's 0. I never used mods in DCS. I don't see how my settings matter considering when I look at resource manager, DCS is hardly even noticeable on my system. I won't reinstall my Windows again for DCS because it only created a ton of problems with everything else, but made zero difference for DCS, because, as I said, as soon as I installed and started DCS on fresh Windows reinstall, errors manifested themselves. I have used CCleaner 2 days ago to clean up the registry. I don't know what other DLLs you referring to because I had no other ones throw an error. It's the same error over and over and over again, nothing changed.
  9. It was suggested and it was one of the things I've tried. My controls aren't much different from default, so I've eliminated the possibility of those files being corrupted too somehow by just deleting them. Did not help. Step 5 is pretty far fetched idea considering the game only starts about 5% of the attempts I make and when it does, it runs for maybe few minutes until CTD without error or log. I've done a complete reinstall 3 times over last 2 days (fast internet helps) where I deleted all traces of DCS on my system, shut the PC down completely for few minutes, restarted and installed. No difference. Installing Steam version made no difference, still starts only about 5% of time, all other attempts results in nothing logged and no errors, just silence and when it does start, it runs for few minutes before CTD without error or log. I've removed Steam version.
  10. I tried installing Steam version out of curiosity. Out of about 15 attempts, only 1 resulted in the game starting. In all other cases, after clicking Play, nothing happened except this one time it created a crash log. dcs.log-20210409-061850.zip
  11. Done all the steps you suggested, no difference. Event Viewer errors from 2 start attempts. 12. I shall try. Is there any way of completely removing audio drivers so I can start on clean slate?
  13. @StevanJ I did reboot after turning services off the way you told me. I am using OBS to record these videos, SteelSeries is for my headset to work, but I'll disable it all and try again. @XPACT is that related to Defender? Honestly, I feel like I have more problems with Defender than I did with AVG before
  14. Here you go, sir. Right now DCS is on D drive, running as admin, Defender off when I try to run it. I've run a repair as well with defender off just in case.
  15. Actually yesterday I've tried with all Defender options off and on D drive. I'll give it a shot again just in case.
  16. I don't think I can show you much more than this?
  17. I've checked it last night to be sure, but it's still sitting at 32669 as per earlier suggestion. Corsair HX1000i (1000W) less than year old, hardly hitting over 600W at normal gaming loads. I did that prior to doing clean sweep of Windows, oldest component is hardly 2 years old. Did a complete PC hardware refresh over the course of last year. I've ran stress tests on CPU, GPU and RAM as well and were stable for 12+ hours. Correct, I reinstalled Windows and barebone drivers needed to run DCS and very quickly the 2 errors manifested themselves. HT is disabled as I do not require it because nothing I use needs more cores, it likes single core performance. 5GHz overclock has been running stable since I got this processor (lucky silicone lottery I guess). @StevanJ so far I have done everything that was suggested in this thread in that order, nothing more because I have no other ideas I'll try this last one you posted. Sidenote: regarding C++ Redist, which versions do I need? That thing always confused me? Thank you all for trying, I just want to sling some boxes with my Huey EDIT: this came up after fresh reinstall of base Open Beta. Hasn't come up before.
  18. I appreciate your help, I really do, it just appeared to me at first we were going down the same road as earlier with others. I'll try whatever ideas to come up with, because I have none myself. I literally just finished reinstalling the base game and I can't even start it because of same errors as post #1.
  19. I have tried running with those disabled. Nothing changed. Screenshot just wasn't taken at that exact moment. Thanks for trying, but it's a dead end, @Flappie already established that long ago, as it can be seen in earlier posts. Some time ago, as posted earlier, I have done a complete clean Windows reinstall. DCS worked for a very short time until error came up again, I had nothing but the video driver installed at that point. It will randomly still work for random duration of time until it just closes (no, GPU doesn't reset. I know how that process looks like and that is not the case). You have to understand I have been troubleshooting this since NOVEMBER of 2020, scouring the internet for 0xc0000142 error and Initialization error 2 and done every single step listed and nothing changed. I am more than confident it is directly DCS related and has nothing to do with anything else I have installed. I will now try for probably 35th time to completely remove all traces of DCS and reinstall.
  20. Miraculously a log was created. dxdiag.txtdcs.log-20210408-004408.zipdcs.log
  21. Not sure how to hide the photos, but here you go. I've disabled everything that I could be disabled and no change. 9/10 attempts to start result in "Initialization error 2" and "Application error 0xc0000142" As per post #1 If that can be resolved, I will bet you a full module that will resolve the CTD.
  22. Since the list of processes was posted, I have reinstalled my Windows, so that's not accurate any more. It's not happening randomly, if anything, it only works randomly for few minutes to maybe 15-20 minutes, after I try to start it 5, 6, 10 times (either no error or the error from post #1). Only processes running are ones required for the PC to work, I've eliminated everything. Biggest problem is that this started happening few months ago after one of the updates and without any changes to my PC. I play same 4-5 games and sims and that's it. My invitation to support staff to connect to my PC and look for themselves is still open. There isn't much on here aside from those few games and sims. If it'll help resolve the issue, I'm all for it.
