  1. Hello!

    Please disregard above bug report!!!

With risk to make "en dåres försvarstal"/The defence of a fool... I tried the same mission on the Syria map nine times in a row (No wind),

and I had the same result  with the SI/HUD every time... Then things went really "crackers" and I uninstalled DCS Openbeta completely...

After a completely fresh install of DCS Openbeta, everyting works just fine now!🙂

Sorry to bother you with this!😔

    Best regards:

    Otulf

    My System Specs:

Win 10 64-bit Home edition, Intel i5-8400 Coffee lake 2,8GHz, GeForce GTX 1070 8GB, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 3TB HDD, TM Warthog HOTAS System, Saitek Combat rudder pedals.

  2. Hello!

I have noticed a small error in the SI/HUD after installing the openbeta 2.7.1.6430.

The flightpath marker must be a bit above the horizon-line on the SI/HUD for level flight.

When the fligtpath marker is on/level with the horizon-line, the plane decents.

When I engage the Höjd aoutopilot mode the flightpath marker is kept above the horizon line on the HUD/SI due to hold the altitude and keep level flight.

For some unknown reason I can no longer use my Prt Scrn/"screenshot button" to take a picture and attach!?

    It is a bit annoying.

    Best regards:

  3. Hello!

The problem still remains in DCS 2.7...

EVERY mission this happens! (See attached screenshot from 2021-05-09 20.00, Stockholm Time)

It is both the SI and the FLI 37 that malfunctions.

Would be most grateful for a fix in the near future.🙂

  4. Hello!

    Thank you frosen!

I still have the same problem in DCS 2.7... I happens in random even without hard turns and rolls?

It sometimes start to tilt just after takeoff.

The standby ADI works without problem and It is only the FLI 37 and SI (HUD) that "tilts" from time to time...

    Best regards

  5. Hello!

After flying a while 12-45 minutes,  and doing some low flying, rolls, hard turns and such, the FLI 37 and horizon line on the SI (HUD) starts to tilt/lean to the right..? One can see that the backup horizon is straight. It is only the FLI 37 and SI (HUD) that "missbehaves"...

I have attched two pictures of this. One picture is taken in the air and one after landing, standing on the runway.

(Sometimes it is worse than on these pictures).

This also occurs when I fly on the Syria map.

I really don´t know what I am doing wrong!?

This occured for the first time about two months ago. It doesn´t matter if there is wind added to the mission or no winds at all...

I have had the Viggen module since the release date and it is by far the module I use most of my time in DCS. (90-95%)

I only play as Single Player.

I find this quite annoying! Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

I would be most grateful for tips/hints to fix this or prevent this to happen.

    Best regards:

  6. Hello!

A couple of minor bugs I have noticed on the AI Viggen behaviour:

RAT is not extended at all on AI AJS 37 aircraft.

Canard flaps is not lowerd with landing gear but is lowered separately after the landing gear is lowered.

The canard flaps are not lowered on the ground at all but is lowered during taxi on to runway.

The anti-collision lights are not activated until aircraft is on runway.

Tha anti-collision lights are on during approach, final  and  when aircraft is on runway but is turned off as soon as the aircraft leaves the runway.

    Just minor things really.

    Best regards:

  7. A question about anti-collision lights/rotating beacons(antikollisionsljus) and AI AJS 37.

During startup at day and night, AI AJS 37:s don´t have their anti-collision lights on.

AI AJS 37:s only turns them on before take-off when they are on the runway.

I think I´ve read somwhere, that anti-collision lights always should be turned on before starting the engine?

    Or am I wrong?

It also appears that AI AJS 37:s turns the anti-collision lights on during approach and landing and as soon as they leave the runway,

they turn the anti-collision lights off.

This occurs during day and night.

It seems a bit odd to me unless I have misunderstood all this.:-)

I would also like to add that the Taxilight during night is nearly invisible for me too.

It is the same in the Caucasus map, NTTR map, Persian Gulf map as well on the Syria map.

(Taxilights work just  fine on the other two aircraft modules i bought. (F-18C Lot 20 and C-101).

Other than that I must say that the AJS 37 module is by FAR the module I like the most I in DCS. THANK YOU HEATBLUR!!!

I bought the AJS 37 module the same day It was released in early 2017.

I would be most grateful for an answer.

  8. Hello!

    Ihave a similar problem.

When I launch a full salvo of rockets, my plane begin to roll without control and shortly after exlpodes?

It is the same at Caucasus, NTTR and The Persian Gulf.

Ihave tried the launch att various altitudes and speeds and It is the same...? The rockets launch, I spin at extreme rate and explode...

    Speeds:500km/h, 600km/h, 700km/h, 800km,h and 900km/h.

    Altitudes:500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m.

I have done a repair but this issue remains.

It first occured after the latest update of OpenBeta.

    Best regards:

  11. Hello!

The position lights (Red and green) seems much too bright.

The position lights starts to flicker and move back on the wing with increased speed.

The same occurs with the White light on the fin. It looks fin on the ground during taxi but during takeoff, they move backwards on the wing and starts to flicker.

I don´t know if there is a earlier thread on this.

I don´t know if this is something that just happened to me or if someone else have the same problem?

Or is it a setting issue?

Would be most grateful for an answer.

Anyway the AJS 37 is a FANTASTIC module! thumbup.gif
