Im still getting the flickers in all except the L gazelle (gun and rockets). Much less annoying than before but its visible.

You could map the trim to the arrow keys on the mirage and use the autopilot, it should be pretty smooth. A steam or old 360 controller is pretty affortable and can handle pretty much anything and it can fit in any bag without getting damaged. Dont play with keyboard only dude
