Another issue. I am running the Enemy within campaign and Kobuleti is the airfield. I have the main radio set to 133 but every time I call I am getting a reply from Batumi. Looking at VA it is recognizing Kobuleti but says "called ATC recipient does not match currently selected unit Batumi"

Hi Andre, Quick questions: I notice you have a site with the price in RUB and that there is also a http://www.gametrix.eu/ site with the price in euros. Which one would be best to use for a UK customer? Are they both yours or is the eu one a different company? Finally how long is shipping typically to the UK? Thanks for the software Hollywood. It really has the potential to make VR comms so much easier. I am having an odd problem however. When I go into training mode words are recognised with high confidence (e.g. Batumi t 90%)If I then go into the sim and issue Batumi inbound VA is recognising it as back to me inbound. It works OK ass Batumi is the closest airport but I can see it causing problems in some instances. Any idea why it is recognised in the trainer but not when in game?

Not sure if it the same with all missions but in the Maple flag missions all the altitudes are currently off by 500ft so triggers do not fire. Try flying at 500ft lower than it asks. Works for the Maple Flag Missions, may do for these as well?

Thanks Sabre, Worked like a charm. Was able to passe the practice and qualifying mission by subtracting 500ft from all instructions

Hi I have completed the ground handling and now moved on to the Engine off landing mission. Just before I hit waypoint 2 I get the message to turn to 060 and do so. Once on that course I get no more messages, even after I have passed WP3. looking at the video of the checkflight I am missing 2 messages. One telling me to maintain 060 and the other telling me to shut off the right engine. This comes up well before wp3 in the video. I am making my turn quite sharply and maintaining speed an alt. I am flying on the latest beta if that has any bearing

Same problem here. Just tried the CM training mission and nothing happens when I press the flare button. Surprised at the amount of bugs related to triggers etc on such a mature module. Very frustrating for someone trying to learn the plane

Interesting thoughts thank you everyone. I spent some time in the UJ1 yesterday and I can see what you mean in terms of being suited to VR. Going to give it some time and see how I get on.

HI I have bounced off DCS since the original flaming cliffs and have now got back into things in VR. Tried Baltic Dragons sample training mission for the A10 and realised that my preferred method of learning is this style of guided learning, preferably in v2 alpha. So here is the question, what do you think is the best plane/helo to learn solely in VR. I want to be able to jump into training missions and use the manual as a reference, rather than have to build missions and read all of the manual to progress. I also want to be able to put what I have learned into practice in a great campaign. Equipment wise I have an i7 8700 and 1080ti 32 gb memory etc. Warthog and CV1 (Pimax coming Jan!) On;y weak point is I am using Fanatec racing pedals as rudder. Works OK until I can convince myself to change my Vesaro seat to flight only. Thanks for any and all advice.

Solved it thanks everyone. Embarrassed to say it was a HOTAS error! Forgot I needed to shift with the paddle on the stick to access nav modes!

Thanks, I have tried that. does not seem to make a difference. What other modes are there other than nav and landing?

Hi I am trying to do mission one of the Georgia campaign (the one where you have to fly a FAM flight. I start on the ground, request power up and start electrics and engines. As soon as I power up and the hud comes on it is set in nav mode at WP0 with a range of 9.1 miles. Once engines are spooled up I request taxi and am given permission by the tower to taxi to RW 142. Once there I request takeoff and get permission. Once in the air I can align with WP0 but the range never changes from 9.1, Also I cannot advance the WP manually. If I look at the kneeboard I can see the other waypoints but I cant select them in cockpit. A bit stumped really. Am I doing something wrong (likely, but I can manually change WP in other flights) or is it a bug. I am running the latest beta of 1.5 Thanks for the help!

Thanks Guys, sorted it...I was not going to BVR mode! New problem now on mission 1 of the FC campaign but I'll post that in a new thread!

Hi, Just learning the F15 and all was going OK with instant action missions until recently every time I enter the mission (trying the intercept one) I cannot get a target designator box on the HUD. I turn on the radar, set tws and then lock onto a target. target locks but the HUD does not change and I do not get a TD box around the target or the circle on the HUD. Also get no range que on the right hand side. Anyone got any ideas? It is driving me mad! Using a Warthog if that has any bearing. Could I have flipped a switch somewhere on that?

What Ryuzu said ;) I just have the top 2 buttons lit, not the heading one as I think that was the one that was causing it to spin to the same heading all the time. If you want a laugh try all of them off :shocking:

Well got the AP workrd out now! had a nice long flight thet ended with me trying to raise the gear and hitting the cutoff valves by mistake oops!

LOL, rest assured I will read every word of the manual once it comes out!:music_whistling: Having said that I did work out that was the problem. Turned off all autopilot modes and now have quite a challenging bird!

They have stated that support will only be provided in the russian forum since it is only officially ourt in Eastern Europe
