Hey Ladies and Gents
Using the Logitech controller programming software:
I've gone and stumbled upon something, didn't find it on the forums, so i put it on here.
For all those people that are using the Logitech Controller Programming software, and can't get their profiles up and running, ive found a work around after ensuring i have the latest USB Drivers.
I've set the Logitech software AND the Saitek profile loader to "run as administrator" via the compatibility tab on the properties' page of those respective.
Basically, find the two bits software, in my case, im using the X52 Pro, So for both the Logitech "ST.eve" and the "X52Pro_Profiler.exe" (looking at Saitek profiler.jpg), right click, for properties, then go to compatibility, tick the box "run this program as an administrator" (looking at "compatibility for software.jpg") save and leave.
From here, start the Logitech software and Saitek profile loader new. Now, let's just say. You already have a profile created (if not, go and make a test one then), be sure to load it in the Logitech software.
After that, ensure you have started both software, looking in the corner by the clock, you should have the controller logo there as i do (looking at image "Saitek unmarked.png"), i can right click on the controller and pick the profile... in my case, selecting the F16C... because I can from there, the Saitek controller should be live (looking at "saitek marked.png".
From there, fire up the game, and happy flying
disclaimer
I do not work for DCS, Logitech or anyone else, done this out of boredom and happiness i got it sorted wooo.... now I ain't quite sure how it may look for the X52 (standard) and X56 for instance, but I bet it should be close enough
