  1. @lefuneste01 - as I only use Haze reduction, any benefit to my getting the latest version vs. leaving my 9.4c version as-is?
  2. Ok, sorry about that.. What happened was I renamed the "reshade DCS VREM.addon64" file to "orig-reshade DCS VREM.addon64" (to avoid it being loaded) and that is the file that got loaded. Deleted it and it now shows 9.4b. Getting closer, as both eyes see the same effects now, but anything under ~70% haze gives a version (gets better as you raise haze) of the pic below of 0% haze.. Edit: Best of luck with this @lefuneste01, i'm leaving for a week in Italy so won't be able to look at it until I return. Thanks again for all the hard work! ReShade.log
  3. Reshade.log attached! This is using MSAA 2x (to be compatible with 8.0) because I did not like the ghosting with DLAA\DLSS even with the K preset.. ReShade.log
  4. No go, you still get different views from each eye. Most noticeable with 0 haze, but always there...
  5. I hadn't noticed it in 9.3 as I was just testing to see it the slider had effect. Yes, anything below ~50% causes distortions (different right\left visuals, darkened sky, etc), and I was getting a square\shaded box in the center of the view at times. Will revert to version 8 for now..
  6. 9.3 works great!! Thank you again for all the hard work and your persistence!
  7. The red options at a fresh start is a 30 second fix, once and done. Glad I could help you find the glitch!
  8. New install of 6.5 and 9.2 into \bin. This time the ReShade top options were in red again, but fixed that per your procedure. Ticked Activate Haze and Save. Set the Debug option, quit, went back in and "Activate Haze" was saved but still no function. Entered cockpit, went out and hit Capture Frame. The file is attached, good luck! ReShade.log
  9. 9.2 did not save the settings. Ok, I removed VREM 9.2 in \bin-mt. Installed VREM 8.0 in \bin-mt. The Activate Haze setting was already ticked and it WORKS! Reset resolution and Visibility distance, restarted DCS, Activate Haze was saved (ticked) and it works perfectly! I use DLAA\DLSS "k" (Quality), does 8.0 work with MSAA at 4x? I guess the big question is why doesn't VREM 9.0\9.2 work for me? Happy to stick with 8.0 for now! Thank you for sticking with this!
  10. Fresh install of DCS, using the \bin-mt dcs.exe, fresh install of ReShade 6.5, fresh install of VREM 9.2, all settings confirmed, and Haze slider has 0 effect.
  11. Just added a shortcut to the \bin-mt\dcs.exe, will run that going forward. I use no other mods in DCS, just checked my DCS JSGME to double check. I also ran a complete clean and repair to it recently (which removed all ReShade and VREM files) before I reinstalled 6.5 and 9.2. The settings for VREM do not save, i'm wondering if DCS being located in C:\Program files (Read-only)has any bearing on that? Removing the "Read-Only" attribute from the \bin folders seems to work but it reappears as "Read-only" when I check again. Nvidia RTX 4090 running latest drivers (576.66 - hotfix to .52). I will try earlier VREMS, should I also try an earlier ReShade? Thank you for the help, it is much appreciated! EDIT: Removed VREM 9.2, installed VREM 9.0, running out of \bin-mt, and the Haze slider has no effect. Also tried MSAA 2x, no good.. I'm thinking a fresh\clean DCS install, outside of C:\Program Files (directly on "C:\"), and see what happens. Going to take a bit, even at 120MB/s...215203.4 MByte DL.. followed by another 152909.0!! .
  12. Yes, I have installed ReShade 6.5 to both the \bin folder and the \bin-mt folder. I have also installed VREM 9.2 to both the \bin and the \bin-mt folder. ReShade shows as 6.5 when loaded, VREM as 9.2 (show in pic posted earlier).. There is a "ReShade.ini" and a "ReShadePreset.ini" in both the \bin and \bin-mt folders, along with "reshade DCS VREM.addon64" and "ReShade.log" files, and two folders, "reshade-shaders" and "shaderreplace".. The ini files were updated (both \bin and \bin-mt) when I last ran each dcs.exe.. Edit: Downloaded both ReShade 6.5 add-ons and VREM 9.2 again, removed VREM, uninstalled ReShade on both \bin and \bin-mt, reinstalled everything fresh. Only change was no red errors in ReShade this time. All ReShade options have effect (in 2D), VREM Haze slider has no effect..
  13. Only setting I changed was the screen resolution. I will drop your options file in w\o change and see what happens. I normally use the dcs.exe in \bin but also installed ReShade 6.5 to the \bin-mt folder (along with VREM) and did try using the \bin-mt\dcs.exe, unfortunately same results. Edit: Put your file in untouched, same results. I'm at a loss... Nothing is ticked in the main ReShade window, and I have left the two other Add-ons ticked in the Add-On tab... Only thing I can think to try is complete removal of ReShade and VREM, re-download fresh and re-install.
