Thanks for such a quick reply. Well, I got those two campaigns installed into DCS World and so far so good...Same with the controls, loaded through the interface and changed some bindings.. Did you say there is a new 1.2.1 update for DCS world? Oh wow, there's already a DCS 1.2.2...

I have both the 1.1.1.1 version of DCS A10C and the 1.2.0 version from DCS world...When I updated to 1.1.1.1 only one campaign was included, so i downloaded the two remaining campaigns from DCS site. My question is this: are those 2 campaigns compatible with DCS World and can i transfer the lua file with all of my control mappings from 1.1.1.1 to DCS World 1.2.0? If so, where would i place the campaign files to activate them in DCS World and where would i find and place the controls file so i wouldn't have to manually remap all of my current buttons? Hello ladies and gentlemen, I got a weird little problem with my game, and was hoping if ya'll can help me out. I have a-10 patched to 1.1.0.7 but do not have any cockpit shadows and no selection in the video settings to enable them. Also, my image quality is not the same as others' probably due to different HDR settings. I have read on this forum that people have a choice to select from three types of HRD(warm, cold, normal), but i simply do not see these options in the video settings. I also read on this forum that there is a line in the optionsData.lua that can force HDR to be available for selection on 32bit OS (if i remember correctly its somewhere along the lines of "arch...64=false" to "arch..64=true"). But in my optionsData.lua I don't have these lines. So, is there any other way of enabling these options in my video settings without having to update to a newer version? I ran out of bandwidth for the month, so I'll have to wait a while to get the patches. My pc specs: i7 950 @4GHZ 6GB ram win 7 hp x64bit gtx 460 1gb sli The games runs terrific, with everything maxed out with and even with the enhanced visibility tweak im getting great FPS; its just the cockpit shadows would immensely add to the realism.

i am having a similar problem but with a LOGITECH 3D PRO...i can get into the air and fly around- lock up a target and everything is ok..for a few times...then out of the blue- the shkval sensor circle goes crazy and starts moving really fast by itself to the right....i reset the rensor- but it goes to the right by itself anyways...i slew the sensor to the left- but the circle still goes right...my SHKVAL SLEW controls are set to my joystick's HAT any suggestions?

no i did not press restart campaign -i finished the 1st mission- pressed next...played the 2nd mission-fly again, played the 2nd mission again-i failed it again...so clicked back(to go into previous menu- and went into options to enable LABELS (so i can see troops hiding in the forest) then after checking box LABELS, i went back into campaign- and it sends me to first mission...this happend like 2 or 3 times already

well this has happened twice to me already and its getting pretty darn annoying...i cannot get to the 3rd mission...well i was stuck on the 2nd campaign mission ESCORT(had to kill rpg infantry men before they take out a friendly convoy) well i have very little success with this mission due to their cover in a forest...so i went into the options and enabled labels to maybe see the rpg...and when i went into campaign to try 2nd mission again- but it sends me to the 1st free flight mission....and i cannot select the 2nd- my only option is to play the 45minutes 1st one for like the fifth time. is this supposed to happen- or am i missing a SAVE button somewhere? i have been playing these 2 missions for four days already and im getting pretty frustrated :mad: never thought id be putting this game aside-but its just too annoying having to restart campagin all the time

no but i mean in the 2nd campaign mission-after i set up my lua file (changed the haze to 0, water to 1, lights to 1, and fullscreen=true) the game ran at 30+fps...then while playing the same campaign mission after a restart, the fps dropped to 20fps(i took these fps measures at the beginning of the flight- first 4 mins) what i mean to say i did all of my testing on the 2nd campaign mission not in combat situation..just while flying...after i found the 30fps mark- i kept trying to succeed in the mission- then i tried once more- and fps dropped down to 20fps all the sudden- withought any changes

well a few days ago i managed to raise my fps from 20fps all the time to 30+ by editing options.lua file..i changed the haze to 0, water to 1, lights to 1, and fullscreen=true...the game was running all good (with full screen box checked in options menu)..then out of the blue BAM- 20 fps again...withought changing any lua file..it just went down by itself....i tried everything now...cannot get it up to 30 fps again! anyone have any suggestions? thnx roma

sorry never mind- figured it out... hat buttons were set to different views

hello! well i have a Logitech 3D Pro and for some reason when i assign the command in game controls for "SHKVAL slew right" to HAT RIGHT, it does not move....up, down,and left works perfectly...i also checked many games to see if my HAT RIGHT works- and it does...dont know why its giving me problems in BS...any suggestions?
