  1. At the risk of getting slightly off topic for the Kosmosima specifically, it might be worth seeing if VKB sells (or plans to sell) black boxes as a separate part. I have a spare black box that came with my T-Rudder, so my plan is to flash one for my MCG Pro, and one for my Kosmosima. I seem to remember the store having the black box for sale in the past, but I could be mistaken.
  2. Interesting. It took me exactly 37 seconds to flash and calibrate my Kosmosima...it takes me longer to unscrew my MCG Pro, line up the insert, seat, and tighten my Kosmosima than it does to flash and calibrate the stick. To each his own, I guess.
  3. I use mine on Star Citizen for spacebrake and AB. In the down/not-pulled position it does nothing. Flip up and it engages AB. Pull is back and it activates the space brake.
  4. The button map template posted on the NA product page indicates the Rapid Fire trigger is also two stage... https://vkbcontrollers.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Kosmosima_Right.pdf
  5. I did a search but didn't see any definitive answer...has the size of the throttle body and the position of the mounting holes been finalized? I'm looking to order a set of stick and throttle mounts, and would like to be able to specify the mounting hole location...would be great if it were compatible with warthog throttle holes!
  6. To be honest, mine are completely silent. The only sound I hear is when I hit the stops when pressing them.
  7. Sorry, just saw your question. I'm absolutely happy with mine! I'm sure it's original. Not only is the stick exactly as pictured, but the box, instructions, and accessories are as expected and just as high quality as the stick. I was a bit apprehensive at first since I didn't realize VKB is actually headquartered in China. Definitely not a cheap knock-off. As an aside, I paid no import fees, even though the price was declared on the package. I am, however in the US. The outer packaging (didn't take a pic...sorry) was over the top. It was double wrapped inside two very thick, sealed waterproof plastic bags.
  8. I ordered a Gunfighter II w/ MCG pro from Aliexpress back in Feb. Shipping address was a US APO address. Had it rush shipped. Went from China to the US back to my APO address in Korea in about 8 days.
  9. I think you're in the wrong thread...this is for the upcoming throttle, not the MCG. Having said that, when I got my MCG I followed the instructions on the website for downloading the latest firmware, then calibrated it. I also followed the online instructions describing how to assign a single button to the brake lever and have had zero problems.
  10. When I first got my MCG Pro I changed out the springs/cams out immediately for #40 springs with the 30 cam. I liked the tension but disliked the clacking at center, especially when doing circular motions near center. I ended up keeping the #40 springs with 10 cam and really like it. I tried #60 (#40+#20) but felt the force required at the extremes was too much so I went back with #40.
  11. One other Gladiator II question: is there a functional difference (other than the buttons/throttle) between the Gunfighter and Gladiator II base for the MCG? In other words, is the gimbal identical? I'm curious because the Gladiator II has additional buttons and functionality, yet is less expensive than the Gunfighter. Thx!
  12. Are we still looking at Gladiator Mk II + MCG Pro shipping after the Chinese New Year?
