    What's to understand?

I purchased the product (F-15 and AV8B) From ED.
The developer Razbam publicly announced that they have stopped supporting the products that they developed for ED's DCS.
Products Developed by Razbam (M2K) start breaking with no updates on the horizon.
ED is still selling Razbam products while many of us our awaiting approval for our refund request on these now unsupported MODS especially on the F15E.

If ED refunds me the money I'm good. (I'll just use it to buy the OH58)
If ED takes control of the mods in question and continues to develop them to completion in a timely manor I'm good. (I'll still buy the OH58)
If Razbam steps up and resumes development and support of their mods I'm good. (I'll still buy the OH58)

However at the going rate ED and Razbam may well find themselves in a nasty class action lawsuit that could hurt both companies and those of us that have invested hundreds of dollars\Pounds\Euros in this game.

Until this is resolved I personally won't be buying any new mods/products from ED (Sorry Pollychop) until this issue is resolved or my refund for store credit is approved.

I also have no problem signing onto a class action to recoup some if not all my losses on this fiasco. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of people feeling the same way and have little care as to the cause of all of this, They just want the issue resolved or their money back.

Regardless of ED contractual obligations, Continuing to sell Razbam products during this drama makes ED look bad .... Like a grocery store continuing to sell contaminated ice cream after it has been known to be contaminated. No one is going to care that the store was contractually obligated to sell the ice cream

    Have a great weekend sir

That's all well and said .... but we CUSTOMERS are caught in the middle of this. It's OUR investment that is at stake.

Razbam doesn't want to support their modules for whatever reason and while those modules start to break down Eagle Dynamics has no problem with continuing to sell said unsupported modules.

I don't care about ED Razbam or their little lovers spat. What I care about is my investment and the lack of return (Fun) on those investments.

The fact that ED is continuing to sell broken junk from a un-reputable developer with a horrible support record, knowing full well these modules still have problems and are going to get worse as DCS continues development is very worrying and may well hurt EDs Reputation ... they need to be better.

We already have issues with refunds on the F15E ... "Will ED refund me my money or are they going to poke me in rear?"

So I don't think any one should tone it down, WE HAVE REAL WORLD MONEY THAT WE SPENT ON THIS UNFINISHED JUNK!

ED/RAZBAM FANBOYS are totally welcome to put their money were their mouth is, step in and send us refunds out of their own pockets, otherwise they're just little chihuahuas yipping away at the wind.

Again, you might be asking ED to breach a contract by stop selling, but your mind is full of rage and cant see further down the road.
You are being very local while having very little info.
Most contract/legal stuff between companies is invisible for customers.

If Razbam made a mistake and breached the contract, why ED didn't say it to their customers to warn them for a posible problem with the refunds and future development?.

Sounds plausible to me to try to reach an agreement behind the curtains.

I’ll add my voice in agreement with this statement right here.

I don’t believe that many people in the community are expecting weekly updates or blow by blows on the matter.

what they want right now is reassurance someone from the higher echelons to come out and say that regardless of the outcome we will have an F-15E to fly in the end.

What's the difference between f15e customers or harrier/m2k/farmers... Customers?

One thing that has been bugging me is whether there is a way to latch the NWS steering on or off? Fair enough if its unrealistic for it to be always on, but it'd certainly be a bit more convenient if the option exists.

I bind NWS for the gray switch of my warthog throttle, the boat switch for A-10 controls.

Thanks - I have that off. I did turn on the controls indicator, and I see the culprit as this orange diamond that represents the direction towards which it's pulling my stick. My VKB flight stick (the only thing I've mapped to the pitch axis) is the green diamond in the middle in its correct location. In this image you can see the stick in the cockpit is fully deflected fore, as represented by the orange diamond. What is that?

    Untitled.png

Here are my settings in Special, where I've turned just about everything off that has to do with the stick/FFB, but the issue remains:

In the DCS settings, Use Force Feedback is off. In VR, Use Hand Controllers is off. This issue affects only the Phantom.

If that screenshot is you about to taxi, it is the correct input. For ground operations, trim is all the way forward.

Toggle pilot key (you need to add the key, example RCtrl+P).

I bind that to a HOTAS , very convenient when the body covers panels or switches.

Love the VR body, thanks Heatblur!!

  8. I struggle with fps during ground operations at Nellis, but I understand my computer is very outdated.
Once in the air, all looking good.
Pitch trim feels a bit weird. I have to double check the pitch axis is not double binded, but I don´t think it is.
Details, texture, 3D interior and exterior are top stuff.
Taxiing with open canopy and playing with the throttles sounds and feels amazing.
Waiting for  SimShaker for Aviators support, it´s hard to fly without that.
Steam installation was flawless, much appreciated your discount.

  9. Let´s see what I did wrong.
Edited the mission to hot start 😝
Take off, the following last minute instructions for departure.
En route to WP2, FL 240.
Set tacan and com 1 radio for Texaco tanker.
Lousy getting some fuel, but no "transfer complete" message from tanker.
I decided to cancel the refuel via radio menu
Resume navigation to WP3, FL 240. What radio should I contact now?

    What's your point?

All I'm saying is that the phantom seems to be ready.

    EDs patch not.

So why are they delaying a finished product?

My point being they pushed hard to meet a deadline, but failed.
What I mean by "they", it´s ED or Heatblur. Or whichever software company.

What you mean by "they", it´s purely "ED". Which seems quite unfair. Were you so vocal when HB delayed the F-4 last xmas? What´s more, were you so vocal when HB delayed the F-14?

Slowly all motors are dying from the JetPad 😞. On the left, nothing works anymore. On the right one or two still work.

Anybody knows of a solution for this ?  If have looked into buying a new one, but 322 euro's plus taxes... that's rediculous.

Or maybe you could lube them, I think Andre mentioned that previously

Hey all wondering if anyone has mounted bass shakers to their mfg crosswinds..  been looking everywhere but can't find anything.  I guess I'll be designing my own.

I just put my vkb rudders over a mfd plank. Then attach 2 shakers to the plank, 4 rubber isolators to keep the vibration out of the floor. Love them, I assign particular effects to them such ground roll, bumps,...

The HF8 has 8 Motors  while Andre's has on 6 motors.

If you use  SSA - which has more features by far you can only use 6 motors and if you use  the HF8 Software you can use  all 8 motors but less features than SSA.

Not sure about Andre units having just 6 motors, I think all of them are already equipped with 8

Can anyone offer a more updated direct comparison between the NLR HF8, Andre’s jetseat, and Andre’s jetpad?

I’ve read conflicting things, everything from the HF8 is an upgrade, to its weaker, etc.

I’d be using SSA - in fact I’m using it now with a buttkicker, and so the HF8 or jetpad would be in addition.

One massive pro for tge hf8 is how easy to buy is, or return in case you dislike. Your can even buy it via Amazon.

Both are seat pad, uncomfortable by definition.
