DCS missile behavior is still very problematic
Due to this reason, I nearly take away from DCS currently until the ED fix the missile performance to an acceptable state.

Most impressive for me: fantastic voice acting by great former US Navy aviators, very very moved me and I felt the truly love for US Navy and Tomcat.
The reason of 0.5 minus: DCS mechanism faults or BUGs make some mission process not go well, not for the campaign itself.
BIG thank you for great work of Reflect Simulations and enthusiastic Naval aviators. Love Tomcat, Love Navy.

This is the last play track.
I used "shift+U" to CAT launch instead of radio menu, and then the rendezvous went correctly.
The problem is that completed AAR the lead didn't return to ship.

Update:
First, it's my fault, I overlooked the tips "do not use radio menu to salute" and I used it to CAT launch, so the problems above occurred. Last time, I used "shift+U" to salute, and the mission went on.
Nonetheless, there was a new quesion: when my lead and me completed the Aerial Refueling, the radio called RTB, but my lead still stayed with the tanker and I didn't know the reason. As result, I returned to my carrier sololy and complete this mission.
I can go to the Mission 13 after all.

I was trying to closer and stay longer as possible, but still nothing more happend.
I don't know the reason why it always circling?
Should this can be added a option to press "space" to call for join up?
And one more problem:
I watched the video again, I found that I have radio talks missing, such as CAT launch in this video, the slick says "here we go", "gears up" and chig says "airborne, good engines". Further more, the mission directions on right top of screen are missing as well for me.
It seems that the mission has some bugs needed to be done.

Yea... I did the same as your video flying(rendezvous at angels 25 over the mother). I should have another try that keep more closer to my lead, and... stay closer longer.

I just replayed the mission a few days ago, it works. Mind you, the AI chose to fly an almost 360 degree turn before settling on course, but that's just the AI...
unfortunately, I have tried multiple times, but my lead was still flying 360-degree turn and nothing other happend.
Can you share a video to demonstrate how to make this happen?

As the document saying, I climbed to angels 25 and joined up with Hammer 1-1, but my lead didn't call for “saddled”.
How can I handle this issue? Thanks.

Same here. I have no VR device and CTD encountered 2 times like you guys said. Thus, I had to skip this mission to continue playing subsequence missions. I completed most of objectives of mission 7 after all.

Damage Mechanisms of Ships in DCS is extremely unrealistic.

I check it again, Labers opened over General Options, but not working on those Campaign Missions.

Hello all,
Personally speaking, I need labels for SA due to no track IR or VR. Labels should be reserved as a way to find target easily for novice players. I'm sorry for that I don't like to use track IR or VR for some reasons. Thanks.

Plus, in this mission, on the Aerial refueling stage, 402 didn't go out so I couldn't refuel, and then I quited mission due to no out of fuel.
All radio frequencies were correct of course.

Personally, it should provide options for different players.
I.e. for Soviet/Russian equipment, it should provide 2 choices to display names at least: Original Russian Names and NATO codes, for preference of players.

Yes, the Blue Angels have replaced their F/A-18C, D by F/A-18E, F in 2021, and the VFC-12 has Aggressor F/A-18E as PLA Navy/Air Force mock up aircraft.

The AWACS can be done as a RTS-like Command and Control Module.
Base on that, it is need to re-build AI aircraft command mechanism not only AWACS itself. At least, the AI tactical level aircraft shoud not inferior to BMS 4.36.

No need a "upgrade pack" make Hornet to Rhino. They are too much differences like you guys said.
It is affordable that spend 100 dollars on F/A-18F Rhino.

I repeated thousand times on this forum that F/A-18F(block 1 is ok) is a "must to fly" aircraft for me as tomcat driver.

Due to well-known multiple reasons, it's unlikely to see F/A-18F Rhino in the near future, but I still wish a better luck here only for some day it would come ture.
An early version of F/A-18F with the AN/APG-73 radar is a relative realistic option, and that should be nice for me.
As an Ironclad fan of US Navy and Tomcat, the F/A-18F is one of my must-to-fly aircraft after all.
