The list was discontinued MilesD stated in a post he had enough members interested on the testing list and was also ordering more than enough parts to cover members so there was no need to keep either list running. The list was created early on it is no longer used. MilesD has stated in an earlier post he will be sending a few samples out for testing, he has already selected the testers and sent them a PM. Miles is currently at a tweaking stage I am sure when he is satisfied with the feedback he will most likely move to sales, but we will have to wait and see. Keep checking back here regularly and his site at https://pointctrl.com/ which is still in the development stage. Cheers FireCat.

Yes, that sounds like a good starting point and as you say many will want to get going straight out of the box. I have just received my Pimax so I'm thinking I may have to come up with a way to set the HMS in place, maybe use some plasticine or something. Not the best solution I know but it should get me by temporarily until I can come up with something better. The Pimax is just all angular at the front and top. Anyway thanks again, Miles.

Thanks, Miles, very intuitive I think this will help a lot of us understand the full functionality and how to work with the FCU's settings. One question. Will it come with a default IR LED time-out setting or will we need to set them before use. Thanks again for the directions pdf, I look forward to the HMS.

Really moving on MilesD you have stuck to your guns and produced what many here know will be the ideal complement to VR flying. I along with so many can't wait to start flying in DCS with it. Also a thought I am sure you are already covering. Maybe a page on your site with some how-to instructions for those of us :helpsmilie: not quite the genius level. May save you many how do I email in the future. Big thanks for all the time and work (and yet to come) you have put into your project MilesD.

Well as I will have my head in my VR headset (so won't be looking at it) the only thing that matters to me is the feel and interaction how it looks and what color it is, is neither here nor there. If it is going to make flying in DCS more of a fluid experience (which I am sure it will) that's all that matters. I'll accept it as it comes.

Hi Kirk66, there is no need for the list to be posted any more as we will be able to purchase the FCU's and HMS (fingers crossed all goes well) from the direct web site Miles is creating. Just need to keep following this thread patiently and wait for new's.

you're welcome MilesD, it has been interesting and I'm sure there are plenty more who are just waiting in the background. I'll stop the updates now you have enough info to go on. On a second note, I have a Rift and a Samsung Odessey (WMR.) I use the Odessey in DCS as it is IMO way better than either the Vive or the Rift it's on par with the Vive Pro at less than half the price tag. Being WMR the Odessey does not use any lighthouses or satellites (although it can use the Vive lighthouses) the controllers use blue tooth but I don't use them either in DCS. I am also waiting for delivery of a Pimax 5K plus (maybe a few months away) which also uses lighthouses either it's own or it can use the Vives. Although I can't see there being a problem with the Odessey there may be a problem with the Pimax. If you know anyone out there who could also give them a test it would be useful to know although I know this may be difficult with the Pimax as only a few have been released.
