Anybody else find in HTS mode the sensor select switch isn't working as expected?

That's an interesting suggestion - although they are high performance jets, would it make Recon a bit OP? It's seen it used so rarely (and I'm relatively new to BF) i've no real basis for comparison. Also is there technical trickiness having weapons restrictions set up slot by slot as opposed to for everything on the warehouse? e.g. some Migs are full loadout others are recon only.... I certainly think recon airframes being able to carry full blown strike/CAP loadouts would be OP. Hence why I thought the l39 - it's not got a RWR, easy to limit loadouts, not crazy fast or anything. I quite like the vulnerability of a recon flight in concept..... Also 2.5.1 rocks my world, 20 min server join times down to 2 min :D

Sorry if I missed a conclusive end to this string of thought but what about the l39? ... Seems there is a niche for a higher performance deep recon platform, the mustang still has a dual recon/CTLD purpose but I think the albatross would be a fun dedicated recon runner for both sides. What do people think? I've not tried the hawk but is that sorted to a point where it could be a blue equivelant to the l39? It's not just the F-15, most of the modern jets are pretty robust on both sides and IIRC older heaters weren't terribly reliable for side aspect kills always focusing their impact at the heat source in the rear. Looks kinda like that might have happened in your video the missile impacting pretty far back. Dunno. We all know the story about the Israeli F-15 flying home with one wing and fuel pissing all over the canopy =P I'd say you deserve bonus points for actually killing an Eagle with a Fishbed anyways! It ain't gonna be easy

Anybody else noticed that it's been fairly consistently around 3:1 Red to Blue recently? Maybe since the Mirage went to red only? I know there is certainly a dedicated Mirage contingent out there which I hope to soon join, red or blue! It might just be post steam sale strangeness but I wonder how the analytics look....? I'm fairly sure I've heard noise about Steam catching up tomorrow, so will wait in anticipation for then... I've heard all the various grumblings about difficulties in managing steam and non-steam modules and versions which has always put me off exploring further - here's hoping everything goes well and I'll be joining you all shortly!

Is this why I can't see Blueflag in the server list on 1.5 (steam) any more? All very exciting!!!
