I registered an account just to second this thread. The AI Mig-21 can tank way too much damage. I know this is a problem endemic to SFM aircraft, but it's doubly so for the Mig-21 and I think it bears some investigation. I've seen it on tacview eat AMRAAMs and R-73s and just go full burner and fly away. There is something about its body that is not modeling damage correctly, as only wings seem to be the thing that gets damaged or breaks off when hit. Combine this with the ridiculous SFM that lets it pull up and fly away after receiving critical damage to its engine, and it makes for some frustrating times in the campaign.
