Hi Jona, It sure is intense on resources, I'm not getting a smooth flight at all, everything is so jumpy I'm not enjoying this at all. Got no control from my stick (X52 PRO) and panning the VC with my TrackIR is a big NO NO. A real disappointment oh well back to BS 1. Timm

Just a small question on graphics. I am noticing that BS 2 is not a smooth as I was expecting compared to BS1. Now these are my PC specs, I also fly FSX with no problems all very smooth but BS OMG not smooth at all. I would have thought with these specs It would run nice and smooth. I am also using a screen res of 1920 x 1080 would that make a difference? BINGO OK Did yet another download on the exe file but this time took it from a German site, and hey its' working. Very strange how the USA one's were causing the problems. So to everyone here at DCS I thank you for all you help, and would like to remove my refund request for with. Timm

Hi Guy's Everything I have doubled checked. The new downloads go straight into a download folder. I have even turned off my AV and still its' asking for Disk 1. I have noticed that when I first start the exe file it states that the publisher could not be verified and an unknown publisher, is that correct? Timm

Hi Guys, All downloaded and numbers all match to what they should be and still getting the "Please insert Disk 1" so I am lost now. Will I still get this problem if I use the torrent way?

Hi EtherealN, Thanks for that info. I have never used this sort of download before so a little bit nerves in what to expect. As you will see I had two files which had incorrect MD5 numbers I have just got the first one and that matches to what I should have, so now I am going to wait and see how the second one goes, if that comes through OK and I am still getting errors then I will give the torrent thing a go over night. Lets just keep the fingers crossed and hope this sorts it out. Timm

Done and found that these had different numbers to what was on the download page bs2_upgrade_setup_en-1.bin bs2_upgrade_setup_en-3.bin

Hi Nate, I have tried using the torrent but as I stated earlier it's given me a period of 5 days for the download. Still I will have another look. I downloaded this MD5 program to check the some numbers is it worth giving that a try. I don't fancy spending all night waiting for a download. That's why I have requested a full refund on this as I have never come across problems like this before on any other programs. Timm

OK, Run BS and everything started great, got into a mission and came straight out, and closed, run the .exe file and got this error message. Timm

Hi, OK I have now got all 4 files, and also downloaded this MD5 program, not sure what I am looking for here? I am doing a completely new installation of my original BS, do I need to install patch 1.0.1. which I have and do I need to download the new patch 2? Timm

Hi, Here is the latest. I have now got bs2_upgrade_setup_en-1.bin. And again its' letting me in on the last one bs2_upgrade_setup_en-2.bin file which is approx 50% through. OK What do you mean by checking the MD5 values ? and how do you do that? I see those numbers above each section. I have also noticed that once the file has been downloaded it transfers it's self into a special type of file which I suppose is ready for installing ? Timm

Just had a go at the last one and that's now downloaded, now this is strange 1.bin is coming through. This is what I have so far. Is the site only allowing one file download at a time? 1. bs2_upgrade_setup_en.exe - Downloaded 2. bs2_upgrade_setup_en-1.bin - Downloading 3. bs2_upgrade_setup_en-3.bin - Downloaded Is this correct in what I am doing?

Thanks for that. Installed and picked up the torrent download but got a download speed of 2.3k/Bs and will take at this rate 1 week and 5 days, hold on I gave wrong info there it's stating it's going to take 3 weeks approx. Timm

At the moment I am unable to get my downloads fro the BS 2 upgrade as the links are now asking me for my user name and password, but I am already logged in. I therefore unable to get any further with this and request a full refund for this package, unless some one can come up with a better plan of action. Timm

You mention the torrent download how does that work? as its' asking what program do you want to use. Sorry never used this sort before. Now I am getting hacked off.
