@Redeyestorm, you sir, are a star, thank you! Jester does indeed change the radio to FM when he tunes the radio so the tankers and AWACS don't receive the transmission, tell jester to change the radio mode to AM and it works fine. Badger

OK so this is probably me missing something, I have the latest AIRIO expansion installed 2.5.1 I've tried this with ICS hot mic on and off, we have complex comms on the server. I try to contact the tanker or AWACS on our server in the F14B with the radio tuned correctly, the command is recognised and actioned in DCS but the asset does not respond, ATC is fine. Other aircraft work ok and it was working ok before installing the AIRIO. I'm not sure what the issue is, I'd appreciate any advice. Hollywood, kudos to you for this software mate it increases my immersion no end edit: forgot to mention that pilots flying the F14 without VA can contact and get a response with no issue, I can't even hear their responses.

Ah I see I didn't realize this option was available shows how much I've read the manual. Not! I just run all the DCS sound through the DCS side Vaicom just handles my transmissions to DCS. Sorry thought I had solved your issue there I also only use headphones so one sound device

Just a guess here Gonvise, do you have DCS set up to play it's sound through speakers? If that's the case then jester will be through the speakers as he's part of DCS and not part of vaicom

Well while not specifically for the F14 but for DCS and VR in general the thing I dropped some cash on was a new 2080ti.

In my experience you can change the attitude of the aircraft using the trim switch this does not disable the AFC, although it does disable altitude hold if you change the nose angle edit:oops missed the post by Chaser lol

It works ok for me when I ask for it with the parking brake on although I've not tried in the last couple of days. I tend to park on the elevators or nearby.
