  1. I've made a kind of working ejection handle. In MMJoy2 I can see the hardware button 1 light up, but after saving to the device windows doesn't see the button press. Has someone got an idea how I can make windows recognise the button press? I haven't tested if it works in the sim as the ejection system is connected to my seat which still sits in the garage. I only tested this on a laptop. SOLVED: After some forum digging I found out that I needed to use the button(norm) mode instead of the switch ON mode.
  2. I'm probably going to use an Arduino Pro Micro clone or a Teensy 2.0. Shift registers seem to be quite handy because it's a lot les soldering than a button matrix. Would you like to show the projects you have made?
  3. For some time I've been thinking about making a button box and I've thought about designing my own button box using MMJoy2 or copying an existing design. I would like toggle switches in my button box, but would it be wise to only use toggle switches that give only 'on' signals? Like 'ON-ON' or 'ON-ON-ON' for a three way switch. I've read that you can assign a button press in MMJoy2 to the 'off' action of a 'ON-OFF' toggle switch, but I wonder what the pros and cons of both solutions are. And if someone knows some good tutorials for MMJoy2 that would be very welcome! :)
  4. Yeah the symptoms were the same. I followed the quick start guide ( ) and the manual and I had to use the v05 profile and a USB 2.0 port to make the buttons work properly. Before that the buttons had those symptoms and the brake axis flickered as well. Maybe you've been unlucky with the combination of your system and the Virpil configurator software. The release of new software has been planned together with the release of other new products on the 9th of July. So instead of sending it back right now I would wait a couple of days to see if the new configurator will be released.
  5. Funkman, did you use a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port? I had button problems when I used a 3.0 port. Using a 2.0 port solved it.
  6. After todays update the assets pack appears in my encyclopedia and I'm able to use the assets. I haven't tried any WWII servers as those don't seem to have moved to the new version yet, but it looks like the problem is solved.
  7. I use the Steam version of DCS and I bought the Normandy map and assets pack bundle through Steam as well, so this is not a compatibility problem.
  8. Hi, in the recent Steam sale I bought the Normandy and Assets Pack bundle and I can't see the WWII Assets in the encyclopedia and according to some multiplayer servers I don't have it installed. I checked it and according to Steam I have it installed, but even after a reinstall I don't see the Assets pack in game. I'm using the current Open Beta version. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
