Back up you config file then delete it, Can’t remember the folder location but it should be in User/saved games. When you restart DCS will create a new file with all the default settings

approach left or right of your landing spot with the intention of overshooting, if you know where the wind is coming from make that your final heading to land. basically circle around until you're slow enough to make the final approach. It also make it interesting compare to very long and slow decent straight to your landing spot.

Rockets has the CCIP equivalent, which is continuously computed impact point. Meaning that cross on rocket will keep moving relative to your speed, attack angle, altitude etc. so it cannot be fixed on target

I had bad fps after the Syria map update, but it got better/normal after few flights. It is maybe the same for Marianas, it just needs time to build up memory cache

there is also a route mode to the right of auto hover that will go to the azimuth you set on the dial just above the auto hover, you must be at a fairly stable flight for it to engage and sometimes stays lit but stops working when ever pitched or too fast
-
I think it is exactly what was happening, retreating blades would be on the right so the hind should only stall towards the right not left and also not forward like the OP said.

Sometimes after releasing the trim the controls locks in-place, have to reset trims to recover. Not the same as VRS or RBS
Can be recreated when slower speed where you constantly re-trimming until letting go of trim just locks the control, it will be visibly lock in place and recovers as soon as you reset trim

Also noticed the autopilot route won’t engage when flying stable while too fast, always have reduce bit of power get stable before it engages.
-
Also be mindful of Aircraft module in the shop, “for DCS World” titles are not full fidelity modeled. They are $14 ones.

had some issue with furniture purchase last year, after multiple broken products sent to me, multiple phone tags, multiple technicians report. I decided to get my bank to work for me by Credit Dispute. Got all my money, and end up sending broken furniture and parts to trash.

my brain is now not where it was, and very lost after a couple of "it is and it is not" at some point I thought I was listening to time travel theory lol

Not sure if it is still necessary but I would deactivate all modules from module manager. Also copy dcs game to a different drive so you don’t have to download it again. Make a back-up of dcs folders from windows saved game folder. You can load key mappings from that folder from each controller per aircraft.

Ok thank you, Yeah that was what I was looking for. I will try this and report back. Hopefully doesn't mess up assignments. I swear sometimes those just disappear too on me (I switch aircraft and none of the older profiles have anything assigned. That's neither here nor there
even if aircraft looses assignments the files does not disappears. all you have to do is load every controllers' profiles from their correct aircraft folders

a few months back, someone here on this thread shared some .ini files in which you could enable/disable motion vector with just a double click. this suddenly stopped working, i enable motion vector and fps still trying to jump to 90. Has something changed? how can i enable again motion vector?
There is now a WMR/Graphics(Smiling ski mask) settings you can change in SteamVR. It is accessible on lower left corner of SteamVR dashboard while in VR. So first have to enable “Show Settings Tab” under “SteamVR Settings/Dashboard” before you put on the headset.

try moving the options.lua from """C:\Users\UserNamel\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\""" folder to desktop or other folder. DCS should create a new file which will reset all settings to default. from there adjust your settings back to your liking, not sure if you have to remap the control assignments. if you have to, you can re-load the same files from each aircraft that you have.

I have read somewhere Nvidia has issues with new drivers, has something to do with fps monitoring. So i just close gpu tweaker, nvidia experience, and even dcs fps display. I also choose Best performance in Windows System advance properties(makes browser letters looks crapy)and half core cpu affinity to DCS and other half to VR processes(hololens...something). Best thing is, I also can forget about the fps and enjoy the sim.

Has load time improved since the last patch?
I was out awhile when my last computer died. I did get a fairly high-end Alienware and the game moves along rather quickly now.
Much more fun to play.
I think best VR version, it may have been because of tuning for the other cloud sim 2020. I just have to stop my self from cranking the my settings any higher. Now have no excuse not to play/(relearn modules) the campaigns lol

I think current open beta version is the smoothest version in VR so this time is the best time to get VR, or at least before the clouds/atmosphere update rolls out. that way you'll have a good idea of what to shoot for every time an update is release for better or worst.

I think the problem with game mode or any other game boost app is it gives DCS.exe more recourses and takes away from other services. which is bad if you are running VR and/or online, because you need just as much priorities with services such as steamvr, wmr, tcp, etc.

Don, go to dinner and look absolutely frustrated (but not upset, this is important). When she asks "what's wrong?" Say, "oh, nothing..." but sigh (this is important)
When she inevitably follows up with another question, say "Oh, that computer part I was going to change an changed my mind about? I may have been rash...I think my first decision was right....Remember the CUDA cores? The extra memory BW, the unique fan design?" As her eye rolls back from boredom throw in a "....but it's OK, I'll deal with it some how."
And you'll have your 3090!
:D:D You're welcome.
Snatch myself an i9 10900K, have my wife post it on facebook marketplace for $70 mark up, of course no one wants it, so I’ll end up upgrading with it soon.

Thanks. however, I don't have the Mixed Reality option in Settings. I have uninstalled MRP etc. both from Settings>Apps and Device Manager, but it makes no difference. Just reboot, software gets installed, everything looks good, but no display!
When you open the WMR app does the desktop screen blinks? Thats when windows adds the HMD to display to. When ever I’ll have issue with hmd not getting detected, wmr comes up without that blink, I would then disable and reenable the hmd in device mngr
