  1. Fantastic! Looks great diveplane.
  2. I have a small one - may I suggest darkening the white lines a tiny amount. They are fairly bright against the otherwise old-looking surface. Keep up the nice work!
  3. Hi Ulrich, my apologies, I've been really busy the past couple of days. I will make my best efforts to send you something tonight or tomorrow latest. Sweet custom shots there svk_fox :D Glad those from Slovakia like it VV
  4. Interesting.. very interesting. Hopefully something like that can be done as an add-on rather than being integral from the beginning. I can model and texture, but don't know poop about software. Thanks for the link.
  5. It seems there should be. They appear to be composed of several snap together sections like building blocks. There must be a file (hopefully) that defines which go where for each air field. I'd like to know also. Actually, I've been wondering if there is a way to build entirely new airfields, perhaps entirely new terrain/theaters. In anticipation of the A-10 module, I've had this ambitious idea that would require me brush off my old 3d modeling skills.. I haven't opened 3ds in years! Something along the lines of a recreation of southeastern Ontario & Quebec/northeastern US, with realistic representations of major military and civil fields. It would involve Quebec separatists resorting to forced millitaristic action in an attempt to remove the province form the country, with Canada calling on US A-10's to help resolve the situation.. haha.. anyway.. waaay off track. I think I'm gong to browse the install folders and see if I come accross anythign with regard to airfield texture placement.
  6. How about some asphalt :D (I know, its not typical for such an airfield. This isn't actually something I'm 'working on', just some experimentation from today). Aged concrete on the taxiway of course!
  7. Hi Ulrich. Certainly. I'll try and have something to you today or tomorrow :).
  8. Aaaah, I see, I see. Too bad it's set up that way, I too would be interested in knowing if there is a way to modify the texture layout. There must be somehow. I'd love to make replicas of real airports from around the world, new terrain for different locations etc.. could really get into this whole modding thing... but I'm getting sidetracked here :D Again, excellent work on the textures. Ironically one of the biggest contributors to realism is imperfection, and all too often things look too squaky clean and perfect in computer games/simulations. Dirt, wear, cracks, dirty glass, you name it, are all a part of reality! Thanks for contributing to the immersion of the software. PS: If anyone out there made cockpit glass with a hint of grime, wiper marks, scratches, etc on it, or has any advice on where to start with something like that, it would make my day ;)
  9. Here is Russia's Smolensk airforce base, with aiming/distance markings on the runway. http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=54%C2%B049%E2%80%B230%E2%80%B3N+032%C2%B01%E2%80%B230%E2%80%B3E&sll=52.626916,39.464436&sspn=0.035844,0.077248&ie=UTF8&ll=54.824086,32.036004&spn=0.004252,0.009656&t=h&z=17&iwloc=addr Here are two useful pages with general runway marking info: http://stoenworks.com/Tutorials/Runways%20and%20Taxiways.html http://www.pilotfriend.com/training/flight_training/communication/rnwy_mark.htm
  10. Hey Timm, glad you got it working. The black line is meant to be a shadow (the top of the tail is slightly fatter I believe). The shadow appears on all the skins in BS. However, after you mentioned that I took a look, and it does seem a little too dark for such a light colored skin. I will tone it down in a future version. Thanks for the feedback :D
  11. Hi Timm, that's unusual. I'm not too sure about the ins and outs of ModMan yet as I'm fairly new with it, but I think installing multiple mods might conflict with eachother. One mod migth edit a file that the other mod needed (unless the program is intuative enough to take that into account and simply add to the file instead of replacing it. That could very well be the case - I'd like to know actually). Sorry I couldn't be of more help. it's odd that TimA installed without any problem. Maybe someone else could chime in.
  12. Nice work! Forgive me if it has already been asked, but is it possible to change the runway and taxiway markings? Aiming points/touchdown zone markings, displaced thresholds, etc, would be amazing.

  14. Thank you :) . However i uploaded the wrong file! Let me fix that - 5 mins. Edit: Fixed. The old file will work too, but doesn't come with instructions.
