  1. Thank you kindly!
  2. F1 has been my favorite plane to fly since the EA launch, but this constant clicking is annoying, even if it's realistic. I would like to see a special option to disable the detot sound, along with a instant alignment option for the EE (like in the Mirage 2000 / Harrier)
  3. Confirmed, I have this same issue and I am also able to cancel the login screen and DCS loads successfully.
  4. Hey guys, I'm having the same freeze issue mentioned above
  5. Hey Hideki, thanks for the input. I have no issues in any other games or in windows. Also, this only occurs on Persian Gulf and the error materialized after the most recent update. I have no issues running Caucasus missions or multiplayer servers. I also had two previous crashes on Persian Gulf that I was able to fix on my own through troubleshooting. I have two matching Samsung Evo SSDs, so I could try reinstalling DCS on my other drive as a control. I also have an XMP profile enabled for my RAM in the BIOS. Since you suggested a RAM failure, I could try turning the XMP profile off. If that doesn't help, maybe pulling one of my 8GB RAM sticks and trying each one individually to see what happens. Thanks again for your help.
  6. Thanks Big, I appreciate the reply and you pushing this to the devs.
  7. Hey guys, so this is the third time I am freezing and crashing on Persian Gulf. Caucasus loads fine. This started after the latest update. Logs are attached. Thanks. From log: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\edterrain4.dll 2018-06-08 11:50:09.237 INFO EDCORE: # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 76A2B17C 00:00000000" DxDiag.txt dcs.log-20180608-023531.zip
  8. I was able to fix this on my own After studying the .log file it appeared that the game was trying to load the PG terrain and failing. I still have no idea why, but hopefully this is helpful to the devs/support team/moderators My steps to resolve: Deleted c:/programfiles/eagledynamics/mods/terrains/persiangulf/ Ran DCS Open Beta Repair to re-download the PG Terrain Files Right clicked on the Eagle Dynamics Folder in C: Program Files --> Security Tab --> Added all users to security list --> gave full admin access to all windows users This is a bit odd as a fix, since I am a full admin on my PC (only one account) and always run DCS as administrator to be safe. Thank you
  9. Hey guys, Crashing again, but this time only when I try to load the Persian Gulf map (instant action, quick mission, multiplayer & mission editor). I'm not getting a crash log generated, the game simply freezes. I though this might have to do with my graphics driver, or the files being corrupted. So far I have installed the most up to date nvidia driver, reverted back to an older (but stable) driver, reinstalled the Persian Gulf map, tried a cleanup/repair and also renamed the open beta folder under my saved games file in windows. I tried launching the game at low setting as well as medium/high, same results. I can load Caucus just fine. I have attached a picture of the loading screen where I am freezing, my DxDiag and my log file Thank you! DxDiag.txt dcs.txt
  10. BIG, thank you for the help and for pointing out the two .DLLs as the culprits in the log file Solution: I simply deleted my windows profile and created a new one. After that, I was able to load all missions as normal. Notes for others: I actually had all of the required visual studio runtimes installed when this crash was occurring. Once I realized it was a crash related to the specific DLLs, I attempted to register them both via the command prompt, which threw an error for each. The error made me realize that my windows profile/registry (related to the DLL) was probably corrupted. Seems strangec since I assume 2.5 stable uses the same .DLLs (maybe not). I'm having a separate issue with the Persian Golf map crashing at initial load, but I will start a another thread if a reinstall of the terrain does not fix the issue. Thanks again!
  11. Hello everyone, I am having an issue with the open beta crashing at every loading screen. I can't fly at all. This occurs when loading into a fast mission, pre-built missions, multiplayer servers and the mission editor. The loading taskbar never displays and the game crashes immediately. I do not have this issue in the stable version of DCS, which I had installed for testing purposes. Today I reinstalled windows 10 as a control and completely reinstalled the 2.5.2 beta. I have deleted the registry entries associated with DCS and all the saved files that are left behind when uninstalling DCS. I have run a cleanup/repair and have no mods. My CPU (Ryzen 2700x), GPU (1070) and Audio driver are all up to date. I have tried the suggested deletion/renaming of the missio neditor and dcs open beta folder. Unfortunately that did not help. I am out of ideas at this point and would really appreciate some assistance. I have also attached my most current crash log zip file and my DxDiag information. Let me know if I can include anything else to help troubleshoot. Thank you for your time! :helpsmilie: dcs.log-20180531-160029.zip DxDiag.txt
