It is how the RWR tells you that this radar (aegis) is usually found on ships. It is useful to know if it is a ship or a land radar in combination with knowing where you are.

It is my understanding that the g-limiter is providing a buffer - think service life enhancer - to the Gmax. As such, using the override merely brings your plane to its max performance, but at the cost of not extending a fairly short service life. But 50-50 I'm wrong.

I would probably buy it. A heavier lifter than the uh1 would make a welcome module. However that would likely be contingent on progress in other (early access) releases made.
