hey all, about a month ago, 2 buttons on my hotas (seemingly) randomly stopped working (my hotas being the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro (she's a beaut', ik), and the buttons in question being the 2 circular one at the top right of the stick). it happened the same time as I started playing exclusively the f18, so assumed it was a problem only with the 18. but as i return to other aircraft, it seems to be a problem with all of them. the odd part is, when in the keybindings menu, i can press the buttons on my hotas, and it will take me to the associated control (meaning DCS can see when i press them). but once i enter an aircraft, the buttons have absolutely no function. i have tried mapping the buttons to multiple controls to see if it is a problem with having them mapped to a certain control (not the case), i have also tried uninstalling the 18 and then repairing my dcs (also didn't help) TL : DR DCS recognises buttons on my hotas when in the menu, but not when in a plane. This may just be a case on my hotas having come to the end of its life, (over 20 years old, with the past 2 years has been used for extensive amounts of DCS) and that its time to get a replacement. any help or advice would be great, thanks in advance! :)

I tried that, it seems when your pod is ready to be uncaged (by pressing the cage button), the screen will be white/grey. my screen will stay black with the bit text on it, pressing CAGE does nothing when this happens. :/

hey, I seem to be having a problem with the wmd7 pod, I will select the pod and press 'off' button to start the bit, but when it reaches 0, nothing happens (screen stays black. yes, I have tried uncaging it.) also, once this happens and I return to the pod menu on an mfd, the wmd7 button will be blinking. any help on what I am doing wrong would be awesome, and if this is a bug, but can be fixed, please also let me know. :)

Release is just round the corner, and I’m almost ready to buy the 17. but I have one last question. Can i load all 3 targeting pods at once, run them on each of the MFDs, set different laser codes for each, and then become a buddylazeing hub for my whole team?

haven't seen it anywhere and don't think it has been mentioned. Will the jf17 include NVGs in dcs? I'm assuming it will, just making sure.

Could you possible set an option in the ‘special’ optionsfor the 17, where you set you ecm presets, where people can choose the real 17’s TTS, or deka’s custome voiceover? Ik you’re very close to release so maybe not straight away, but it could be something to think about? :thumbup:

Super stoked of the 17, any idea if there will be a pre-purchase, or is it planned to just appear in the game on the 4th (for those who are not looking at the news, like the J11 did.)?? Planning to buy it either way.
