And the same here.

Thanks for the Compliment. Makes all the effort worthwile.

No offence taken. I removed it from the Checklist as it indeed is for ground/maintenance checks. Version 1.7 is in the start post, freshly baked. +-)
-
Well if I remember it well, I couldn't target anthing without turning it on.

Sorry guys been away for some time on the forum, but my new study is taking a lot of time. I updated the checklists to INU heat first and then the INU power. Version 1.6 is in the start post. I probably won't be able to do the ECL, my study just takes to much of my spare time. All has to be done besides work so it's allmost 2 fulltime jobs. Sorry guys, I'll keep updating the Checklists I made. I still want to help if anybody else decides to create the ECL. I haven't even had time to fly the Black Shark for some weeks now.

What do you mean ?
-
I was too. I searched every folder for it. The procedure is described in the manual but not very handy described and too much info. This is the perfect format for it. And together with the rest of the user inputs it will be perfect.

We do it otherwise in reallife, one day we start engine 1 first all day and the nex day we start engine 2 first. No matter what wind there is. And indeed to give each engine about the same amount of starts. Problem is you have to move the start selector because you start the APU first also for the next flight. You can use my Beginner and Pro checklist located here. They seem to help, and are as close to reallife as they can get.

Your welcome.

Must have been while I was changing it to Version 1.5 please try again.

New version 1.5 up : Added Hot Refuel/Rearm Checklist During Shutdown checklists set Parking Brake First to prevent a/c movement in high wind conditions
-
Hmmm, does the game except rearm and refuel while everything running? I didn't try yet, I'm just getting to know the game. I've fired my first couple of dozens of missiles today to try out the firing systems in the trainer mode so. =-) Time ..... hmmmm they should invent days that last 48 hours. hehe And I flew the first area recon in the Campaign mode. The checklist could be incorporated in the normal shutdown checklist using color coding for optional items while hot refuel/rearm. Is it me or do you change a lot of button assignments in the beging on your joystick before you have the right assignments? I've tried a couple of profiles but the Saitek SST software really sucks with this game it crashes the MFD all the time. Even the restart only lasts for a couple of seconds using profiles and then it crashes again under Vista x64. Any work around for this? Does the assignment ingame detect other mode selections on the X52 Pro?

Version 1.4 is up Added Collective Low Check before engine startup Added Governor L&R Off in shutdown checklist
-
I was still at home, I meant I am going to the inlaws now. =-) My wife isn't a real trouble maker at least not with me. I added turning off the governors in the shutdown checklists. At my work we shutdown the a/c completely onshore, offshore we usually do hot refuel so with everything running. How do the others think of this? Would a checklist for this be usefull? You might have a point on this one. Maybe we can put the parking brake on first, I'm not sure how the a/c wil respond on high winds when the parking brake is on. I guess it is safe to shutdown below the maximum shutdown winds limits when the parking brake is on without moving. But if the wind exceeds the maximum shutdown wind limit it is prohibited to shutdown, it might damage the blades too. I've seen examples of this in reallife. Always nice to see the blades bend up in a 90 degree angle, well if it is your competitor it is. =-) But you also don't want to push the cyclic forward when there is nothing to compensate for. What are the rest of you thinking about this?

I'll change it over this evening, I'm off to the inlaws now so will be back tonight.

Damn that looks so sweet !!!!! I only have the Black Shark for a couple of days but I am looking forward in flying this baby too !!! Keep up the good work !!!

I'll change it over when I get home, I'm off early too today. I started at 14:00 I saw the handle move so that's why I left it in and made it a check item you can visually check it. If it didn't it would have been harder. =-) I'm calling the checklist I created a Beginner Advanced Checklist and I will convert it to a Normal Advanced Checklist by removing the location and keyboard assignment column. This way you have a Reallife checklist anybody can use when they know all the locations already. When I get home, I'll convert it and put it in the first post.

Bedankt Henk !!! Vond hem zelf ook wel geslaagd. Hehehe Fijne feestdagen !!!!

Emergency checklist will be a lot of work, it's not as easy as a normal checklist of 4 pages so don't expect this to be done within 2 days; =-) Emergency checklists we have are more like emergency books for the AW139 it is 110 pages. With different chapters for each single problem. Some problems I don't have to use in an ECL for the Black Shark because it doesn't have that equipment or it is not simulated. I don't think there are chip detectors simulated in the Black Shark sim. I didn't see them yet. So this will take some time to complete, and I have to fit it in between my work and also a study I started a couple of weeks ago for the next 3 years. But I'll do my best to have it done asap. Once I have a rough setup I'll post the "Beta" in this thread too and with some input from you guys we should be able to get something going. Merry Christmas to you all !!! Safe flying !!!

Brake hydraulics is a closed system if i'm correct not sure about the parking brake I guess it is too. With my reply I meant to check if the parking brake switch is in it's on position. It's on the front of the cyclic if I'm correct. So the item is now "Check Parking Brake ON" the keyboard buttons are there if for some reason it is not on and you can easliy see what the keyboard combination is to put it on again. Maybe someone put it on by accident. It's in our own Reallife checklists too to check it. Consider you remark ignored. :) I'll check tonight about the fire suppression light, and change it in the checklist.
-
That is no problem at all, I will be updating this thread with all other lists to come. So link to the startpage and all updates or extra lists will be there. Glad you like the effort. I'm at work now so I'm gona copy the emergency checklists too from our a/c here, and use them as an example again. Only an engagement checklist will be a bit more problematic, being we don't have guns onboard our offshore a/c. =-) But with some help I'll figure it out. But first some flying this evenening when I get back home from work.
-
I made the "Parking Brake On" a check item, it needs to be on for start-up. Same as with the x-feed. The fire exinguisher item I have to check wich light stays off. I have to do that this evening after work. The manual dicribes nothing like that as far as I´ve seen. Is it a bug or is the manual wrong in this. Now of to work again.
-
Version 1.2 is in the start post. Next up is trouble shooting this checklist and some flying myself I've spend more time creating the checklist than flying the beast. =-) Emergency Checklists will be my next project and after that probably an engagement checklist too.
