I had the same response when I was hit doing the A-10 quick mission. I was looking all over for the ZSU-23. Then I realized that nothing was showing on my EWR. Only a few of the IFV's in the game will shoot at a plane. Not all of the vehicles will though.

I know this post has been dead since Sept, but here are some hints. You can view the mission goals while you are flying. Press the single quote key " ' ". This will show a % of what is completed. All goals should equal to 100% to complete. Of course I have beaten some mission with it at 75%. While in A2G mode, your HUD will show your the location of your ground targets by using a small diamond with the target in the center. A diamond with an X through it means the target is not in the field of view in the HUD. You can cycle through the targets by pressing the tilde key " ~ ". I hope this helps.
