  1. LOL now thats a nice simpit!

plenty of room to hang the monitors as well ;)

Thanks a lot! I'm looking at a july release for the F-16 seat and Pit!

I will have back-lit cnc'd panels soon and cheaper then the competition.

  2. I think the A10 shuld be next. But If the AH64 ever comes out I may just buy that from you.

And when are you going to start flying agin we miss you over here.

I need to start flying again, but very busy trying to get the cnc up and going!!

but.. I will start flying again very soon!

  3. I like the cockpit, I could help you in that area, If I could get the general dims of the pit area - I could draw up the structure for easy assembly. Let me know!

BTW, I will be working on the BS seat here soon- Picking up my cnc this week. I was going to let trigger beta test the seat when finished.

  4. I would rather have the real parts to show as well, but the good news is I will have real pics from now on. No more Drawings!!

Give me about a week , I will be doing black shark parts, but I do not have the ability to injection mold yet. It will be an option later if I do well in the store.

  5. FIIIINE..!

Ps. how much time do you spend with SW mate?

Lets SEE, my kids go to bed about 9:30 -- so hit SW through the Day and then at kids bed time to Midnight. I need your help on the Blacksahrk Seat- I sent you an email.

I do alot in autocad then I convert it all into SW 3d to check it out. Btw , this seat is not 100% done yet!

  6. Is this limited to the Pit of the Ka-50? or can there be other pits? I have just started planning an F/A-18 Pit of my own, and some advice would be cool, but if not, that's fine.

EDIT: What about creating an entire Lockon/DCS pit-building forum? (just an idea)

Hey Guys, I don't live in CA , but fly there all the time. I would like to join the little club. I plan on making the Seat, cockpit, and panels on the CNC. We could all join up and split some panel making jobs where everyone would design a panel in Adobe based on some general specs. Just a thought! I have plenty of Ideas on the cockpit as well.

BTW- Here is my F-18 seat Kit -

  7. Hey guys, in preparation for the New DCS A-10 here is the New A-10 Aces II seat. The Seat is cnc'd out of mdf and a molded seat back is available. Check out my site for all of the details. Next , I'm working on a space saving tub and consoles.

The seat starts at $399 and other options are available.

    ETA, about 4 weeks

  8. Well, that is my goal ! I will do the hard part and provide the structures, seats kits, and panels( all professionally CNC'd). I'm also working on a full wiring solution. That leaves the fun stuff, painting, hooking up swictches, and flying!

On a second note- i'm working on a force sensor stick for the 16 pits, but was thinking on making these work as a center stick for the A-10 and black shark. Would a center non-moving force sensor stick appeal to this crowd? The stick will be a shaft just like the real platform , but no movement except by pressure. That way you could just rest your arm on your knee as you fly and use pressure only. I love flying blackshark with the FSSB and this will be similar. As for the A-10 , it would be perfect and accurate. It will be cheaper then the FSSB and all you would need is a cougar grip. I would like to make different grips based on the aircraft your flying-- we will see , but it's possible. A moving stick would be alot more difficult and less accurate. So, give me some input!

    Thanks, Flim

  9. Hey guys, I'm working on a CNC'd cockpit solution for the black shark. I will sale kits, panels , and seats. My main goal is to keep the cost down and make if affordable to many. So to start , here the mip in SW. I will build off this and make the full pit. One of my goals is make this where it will fit into a normal size room. Space is a big issue when it comes to pit building.

    More to come...
