Most FC+DCS MP Missions Don't Have Ext. Power for Ka-50s

the solution would be to put in the ground vehicles needed for rearming and ground power and a command vehicle, cant remember the exact names but with this info u can figure it out using the encyclopedia, maybe u can ask the host to update his mission in the editor.. -

If i start the multiplayer mission from fc2, me and anyone else can only fly fixed-wing aircraft , if i start multiplayer from dcs everyone can only fly the ka-50..i also noticed that i dont see the same servers from dcs: black shark as i do from fc2. What am i doing wrong?:helpsmilie:

i like to know how many people still believe ed's updates on when the update comes out. first it was march then it was june, now its august. i bet it wont be out in august and i bet a-10 wont be here before 2012. And for all u whiners that say u cant criticize dcs because its such a great game that may be, i agree that dcs is great, i am talking about ed here...ED should stop lying about updates that suppose to come out next month, cmon when they said the patch should be out in march they sure as hell knew they wouldnt make it... mark my words the will be NO patch in august 2009 :mad:

just wanted to say i have the same problem with the shkval slew, so since i use track ir and x52 i have 1 pov extra, i actually have 2 pov buttons programmed for the slew...if i get this prob(wich is not due to 1 pov failing at all, i just use the other pov, usually the slew instanly works again then, when u use the original pov again this works again too...i know weird, i think its a bug in dcs

i wonder where the patch is that was suppose to come out in march? havent been hearing much about the new mods that suppose to come out in a couple a months either... anyone got any news, or is dcs slowly dying already? well i hope they hurry, i am seriously starting to lose interest and i doubt dcs will be so appealing after the first mod will come out in 2012+ i bet there is better stuff by then...

1: fix existing bugs. 2: the new mod. 3: it would be awesome if transport units (eg: apc's hercules etc) could house infantry (load/unload) that way u could make missions that simulate troop transportation and supply lines which are key military targets (obliterating supply lines wins wars). it would greatly increase mission options and definately will make missions feel more dynamic. (i do this now by working with triggers activating the infantry groups on arrival of the apc, so this should be ez to script) 4: in the editor, i want to be able to copy rules, then just editing 1 of the options (because i for instance have to repeat similar rules on different units only). now doing this for 100 units is only possible by 100 times selecting 4 different choices each choices takes likes 4 click so thats at least 1600 mouse clicks, of wich 100 * 3 * 4 = 1200 are useless , if i could copy i could just hit ctrl + v 100 times and edit the fields it would be 100 * 1 * 4 = 400 clicks... ) 5: all the stuff muamshai mentioned

"If i use the russian or the american infantry and set a direction to a waypoint, the men is running correctly." a lot of times this doenst seem to work, when u mix different infantry 1 infantry groep it never works, when infantry is mixed with vehicles (strangely infantry are considered vehicles as well....) the vehicles move but the infantry wont. when spacing waypoint relatively far it doesnt work either even if its only infantry and all of the same type, also when i get them to move it looks silly because they walk in a straight line, al behind eachother wich looks totally unrealistic. i love the infantry thats added but personally i think its very buggy... i also found that static objects dont shoot back, so i dont really see any point why units are in that section...(buildings ok) ps what are the limits of the speed for infantry...i can imagine the cant run 120 kmh?

hmm never really seemed to need the manual that bad to be honest, figured out most of the stuff after training, the rest on missions and googling stuff i got stuck on..for the datalink i learned most from online players. i love flightsimming, and been at it for at least 10 years, so that might have helped a bit. but i guess u would be right about the manual, id advise keeping tooltips on and just learn what a few knobs do every time you fly until you know what all are for.

shooting trees (unfortanetly not shown in chat either) is the better option if u want to waste ammo since shooting civilians will get you court martialed in real life.:smartass:

first setup joysets (real) in dcs options (so in-game, no editing). when done save. exit dcs, restart and see if options are still ok, then try in-game. if it still doesnt work restart pc, do the same thing again. (it should work by now). if it still doesnt work u could program the keys using the saitek profilers software instead and use that until someone can help u out with your problem. i think i experienced similar problems after i tried to play arcade mode once, i needed to adjust settings for arcade. then when i wanted to play realistic again all my settings where gone!

yes,i agree, check gear on the left panel (picture of helo with little lights), red lights mean gear up green = gear down. so red lights mean u cant safely land:smartass:
