Thanks all for the help! Lots to remember!

Thank you. I’ll check that. I’m also wondering if the cowl flaps may have something to do with it as well.

Jimd0586 started following F4U max speed only 200 knots

Hey all. In level flight it seems I’m maxing around 200 knots. I did the rpm level pulldown with the mouse and still seem to max at 200 knots. Throttle open in level flight, landing gear up, supercharger fully forward… is there something I’m missing? Shouldn’t it max around 300 knots? Also flying a clean bird, no stores.

Thanks Edmuss. I returned the headset and went with a new 32" 1440p monitor and Trackir instead. I appreciate everyone's input.

Hi all. With Multi-threading now out for DCS, I am curious about processors. I am running an 95 9600k OC'ed to 4.6ghz on each core. I am wondering if this is going to bottleneck my computer. I would prefer to keep the same mobo if possible. If I go down that route, is it going to help me to get a better CPU on that socket? Any suggestions? I just upgraded to the 3060ti. I am trying to determine where next to put my money for the best possible budget experience. 24 Gb RAM (8x8 and 4x4) i5 9600k OC'ed RTX 3060ti OC'ed Windows 11 DCS- Steam

Thank you Mbucchia. I imagine that upgrading to a better VR setup like a Meta2 won't help? I know DCS is quite a hog for power but I really thought the 3060ti could handle it. If I purchased and installed the Meta 2 headset could it maybe run a bit better?

It works with SteamVR

This is really a two part question. And I will start with saying that my guess is the RTX 3060ti just can't pump out the frames for VR. I am getting poor fps and quality on my setup but heard OpenXR may improve performance. I just don't know if it will work with PSVR. Here are the questions: 1) Can PSVR use OpenXR? 2) If so, how? I am brand new to VR after upgrading my graphics card to a RTX 3060ti. I found a good deal on a used PSVR and figured why not give it a try. I play DCS in steam and bought the PSVR IVRY software. It is working but the picture quality is lacking. I am wondering what the issue is, if it is settings or my hardware just isn't good enough. Maybe someone can help? When playing on the monitor without VR, I am running at about 140 fps on Normandy in my P-51D at 1080P and mostly high settings. With VR on and using my PSVR I have to turn most of the settings down pretty low. With so many layers, IVRY, SteamVR, DCS, Nvidia Control Panel... I just don't know how they interact. Any help would be appreciated. Computer Specs: Windows 11, Steam, RTX 3060 ti (OC'ed), 24 GB (dual channel 8x8, 4x4), Motherboard Gigabyte Z390 Auros Elite, Intel Core i5-9600k (OC'ed), 650 Watt PSU (circa 2010), 1 TB SSD.

I didn't know where to post this so I came here. I am brand new to VR after upgrading my graphics card to a RTX 3060ti. I found a good deal on a used PSVR and figured why not give it a try. I play DCS in steam and bought the PSVR IVRY software. It is working but its pretty jittery, especially comparing maps Normandy to Channel. I am wondering what the issue is, if it is settings or my hardware just isn't good enough. Maybe someone can help? When playing on the monitor without VR, I am running at about 140 fps on Normandy in my P-51D at 1080P. I am not sure how best to setup DCS in game, IVRY, or Steam VR to make everything run best while not looking completely jagged. Again, maybe I just don't have a good enough computer? I sure hope that's not the case.

No suggestions?

So my main monitor is a 1920x1080 display. The two other screens are lilliput 8" 800x600 screens. The only success I have had is to use the lua file : Camera+ LMFCD_auto_placement but that only displays one MFCD. The LMFCD+Camera+RMFCD creates the issue you see in the screenshots where only the center monitor (main monitor) is used and it is split three ways to show the main view and both MFCDs. LMFCD+Camera+RMFCD.luaCamera+LMFCD_auto_placement.lua That is where I am at.

Ok. I’ll get that info posted tomorrow when I get home

So I finally got my second monitor in but my troubles are anew. Does anyone have a Lua file with a three monitor setup I could use? My main is 1080x1920 with two 8" lilliputs. I have attached screenshots to show what is going on.
