Hi, does anyone know how to go back on the Quest 2 driver version? I have a problem with the latest version and I'm going to have to roll back to a previous version to try and fix it. Thanks.

Hi. I have used the Quest 2 without problem before, but now, whenever I select DCS through Quest 2, if I set the headset aside to do anything, it freezes. I tried covering the sensor, but it's the same the only way I could make it "work" was through steam vr, but it was unusable because of the choppiness and stuttering. If someone has any ideas,I would appreciate them. Thanks.

So, I checked the logs and the last event logged in the required categories was 1/10/23, and all the errors I received were yesterday, 1/13/23.

Ok, I googled it and found the event logs, but I don't know how to find the necessary information in the event logs.

I did remove all the traces of the previous install. I'm going to re install the visual c++ runtime to see if that works. Where do I check the windows event logs??

I had to uninstall and re-install DCS twice, but now I cannot start the sim. When I double click the icon i receive the following messages: Can someone help me? It's a plain vanilla install.

Well, after reading all your suggestions I decided to reinstall Windows. That once again started the network connection. Now reinstalling DCS, and so far, so good. I hope I have no problems with the network installation. Thank you very much.

I'm having a curl error when trying to install the Syria map. At first I had this error when installing the 2.8 patch, and fixed it by swapping the original updater by a new one posted by one of the admins, but I don't know how to fix the installation of the Syria map. Thanks.

Well, thanks to all of your suggestions I finally fixed my issue, and now I'm starting to install my modules. I reinstalled Windows, and basically didn't even lose any data. If anyone has a problem like this you can refer them here. Thanks

Yes, I bought a Netgear adapter so the computer could see the network, but that didn't work. I have a question. If I buy a new computer and install DCS in it, will it let me use DCS and my modules or since it's a different computer will I not be allowed to use it?

It's the same connection, but I'm going to reinstall Windows just in case.

So I guess nothing will work since I even bought a netgear adapter and even though it sees and connects to the network it doesn't give internet to the computer, even with the modem right beside it.

The router is in the house but in a different floor and I tried bringing it to my floor, but the adapters in the computer are the ones not working, not the router, the rest of the equipment work with the internet perfectly, except my computer. Not Wi-Fi, nor Ethernet, nothing works with mine.

OK, I think I can do this. DCS is in a separate hard drive, so I wouldn't lose DCS, also, I'm thinking on validating DCS in a different computer since the whole instalation is on the SSD.

Neither of those work, because it's my computer that's not receiving. Everyone at home has but me. I even installed a USB receiver and it doesn't get internet to my computer. Still looking for other options.

So, is there some way to do this if you're already without internet? I had lost internet before this started and now I guess I won't be able to use it.

I ordered the F/A-18 throttle handles, then the fingerlifts and now the F-16 grip. The problem is that the F/A-18 with the fingerlifts cannot be swapped back and forth with the Viper grip as the center structure doesn't fit with the F-16 handle.

I know that I'm supposed to be connected to verify that's a legal copy, but after spending thousands on DCS I'd like to know if there is a way for me to use it for more than 3 days without connecting. Hi, I downloaded the updater that BigNewy put in the forums instead of the one that appeared originally in the bin folder. Everything worked as it was supposed to. You have to replace the one in the original installation of dcs.
