  1. My wife is dragging me kicking and screaming away from my computer! I thought the Harrier was the bees knees...but this Hornet...holy after burner Batman!!!
  2. Thanks everyone! I pretty sure I said I was extremely new to DCS! I had the settings in game mode and the F 18 didn’t like that. Switching to simulation solved the problem. Pilot error again! Thanks again!
  3. Revisiting the F 18 and I’ve discovered the module does NOT accept keyboard commands! Color me puzzeled!
  4. Revisiting the F 18 and I’ve discovered that the aircraft does NOT except keyboard commands at all! Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
  5. Thank you Rino! In Contro Options under Axis Assign under Thrust my Joy_Slider1 curvature is set to 0. Maybe my joy stick slider is not assigned to the correct action?
  6. First I’ve read the few posts about this problem, so please don’t bash me for not reading or watching etc. I’m very new to DCS World and I love it! Been flying sims since 1979 (Atari text based...yes I’m old). I have a few modules, the AV 8B being my favorite! I just purchased the Hornet and Persion Gulf package! I’ve watched Matt Wagners series of Hornet videos...here is my problem... In the “Cold Start” mission I cannot whatsoever move the throttles to start the engines. The keyboard bindings don’t seem to work either. I’ve tried idle off/on left right...nothing! I’m using an old Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 (Stop laughing). I’m at my wits end after hours of no joy. Any help would be much appreciated. I hate to hang it up because the DCS F 18 is such a beautiful model. P.S. the throttle works if plane is already started! Thanks a million, Greg
  7. I fly the Av-8b Harrier. The default key "" brings up the on screen menu which includes "Flight" which includes "Close Group Formation" which will put wingman two on your right wing very close! The same menu will let you break wingman left or right, trail or etc. Hope this helps
  8. WOW! Been flying sims since 1979...(Text Based). Also suffering from anxiety and depression!!:badmood: Spent thousands on FSX and P3D...chasing the Dragon! Matt how do you spell PROZAK?...F L Y I N G. A series of "F's" in life, such as family...friends...fig newtons...etc.! DCS excels any expectations I thought existed and reveals my inner child dreaming of flight. Keep flying...hang on and splendid skies... Truly, Greg
