There is a small unmarked airport/airstrip near the town Kobuleti (not to be confused with the actual Kobuleti airport), just curious is there a way to drop certain ground units near this airstrip to make it a refuel/rearm point? I found that placing a Heli FARP and driving up on it is one option but damage is likely when you taxi off of it ... :) Thanks!

I was able to follow this and it worked great. Now I have to figure out how to keep them from landing at base bc if they do they become invincible for some reason.

Thank you! Ok I will try a few things. I'm guessing if it cant work like that it is likely because a mission is not too much unlike real life. In real life we cant bring the dead back to life but we can order someone else to take their place! :)

In mission editor I am trying to set up where upon the death of a unit it will auto respawn. This is what I have setup but it doesn't work. - Group-A is a single F-18 so - Triggers= once - Conditions=Group alive less than =(Group-A (1) - Actions=Activate (Group-A) The way I read this, One time, every time there is less than 1 of (Group-A) ie (0 or Dead) a new Group A is Activated 1 time. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks

When I have the AIM9 Seeker uncaged and then have it lock onto a target I sometimes notice it will blink/flash a few times while tracking the target. What is that indicating? Thank you.

I have a radio tower biased ISP, they had to give me a static/public IP and put the radios in bridge mode to allow me to run a game server.

Yeah whatsmyip matches what the game says, but my ISP was insisting it was wrong......that was until 5min ago when I got a text from them saying that he entered the wrong setting... Everything is good now crisis everted.

Cool, yeah I tried them out! I would just do the M's, the L's are not working atm for some reason but the M's are perfect. Also could you change the time of year to jan/feb and the temp to -10c? THANKS! :)

Hey Thanks! I'm trying it out now, make sure both are (aim-9m-2), one of the ones loaded is a (aim-9L-2) and for some reason will not work together. Thanks!

Hey Flighter, would you please consider changing the default loadout of the a10c? I would like to suggest removing the TGP, Fuel at 25%, guns at 40%, remove jammer pod, 180 flare, 120 chaff and add 2 aim9s for a total of 4. Thanks!

Pull up task manager, memory tab, and pay attention to your "committed" IF you are crashing because or when your "commited" gets maxs out you can make your page file larger thus making your "committed" larger and this should do.

LAU-131 vs LAU-68 and M151 vs MK5 rockets

After doing a little testing against a T90 tank with both, im not comftorble claming the MK5 is any better against armored targets than the M-151 is. They both damaged the tank and in fact I acually had better results with the M-151... go figure. I also cant see a difference in length or accuracy between the Lau-131 or 68. So unless you just need/like the OD green, go with the lighter white Lau-131. -
If anyone is still confused, you can find your "Committed" usage in task manager under the memory tab.

Yes however the suggested 16gb PF was not enough for me and I was still having issuse, that only netted a 32gb "committed" so I had to bump it up to 32gb PF to get ~48gb "committed". I guess I just wanted to point out what the actual issue is and that is that the "committed" memory is being exceeded for people that want to understand what/why its happening.

OK figured it out, It was memory related errr kinda. My "Committed" memory was maxing out, not the actual used memory. "committed memory" is apparently your Ram + page file combined but not necessarily used..... I had my page file set to auto and it was maxing out at 32.8 "committed" so that's about 16gb ram + a 16gb page file. Well I watched it load into a MP server and as soon as it went 32.8/32.8 "committed" it crashed. So I changed the page file to 32gb, that gives me 47.2 "committed", and its successfully loading into those servers at ~34/47.2 GB "committed"

IDK if this is intentional or a bug but this is highly annoying. I log in, then if I start a new thread/post then it asks me AGAIN for my login info before the post will...well post...

104th Phoenix for example, click join, It starts loading process, shows loading bar, load bar finishes, then the F10 area map will flash on screen once or twice then the game crashes/closes back to windows desktop with no messages.

Ahh I see, Rift doesn't use WMR. Yeah even when I launch DCS VR directly from my steam Library WMR automatically launches in addition to the DCS window (displaying the same image) I have learned to minimize the WMR window and to (alt+enter) the DCS window to make it full screen. Thanks for your help! and on the view issue too! Hopefully someone knows hoe to disable the auto/move on function of WMR.
