So peddles and rudder animate but not nose wheel tried different key and the same thing happens
-
Thanks very much for your help its odd that the Russian planes work and the US don't If you google it there are quite a few posts on the same subject, but no answers really
-
-
Been there done that :smilewink:
-
Thank you for helping, but as you can see from the screen grab - the instruments are reporting that steering is engaged
-
Roger that Im using the z and x keys as the rudder and steering I have the thrustmaster hog joy stick and hotas and have configured the hotas for both the a10a and the F15 from profiles i have found in the file down load section, but not copied them over in their entirety
-
Thanks for checking but they are defo not working this end Ive checked all of the binding - there are no conflicts - all of the FC3 craft use the z and x keys some work like the Su25/t and others dont for me
-
Thats what I first thought but all of the bindings are correct and there are quite a few old posts mentioning the same thing The SU25t is fine that at least works and as you may know there is very little difference in the controls across the FC3 craft
-
Thanks Im getting sick of the FC3 craft not working - for instance the a10a and the F15c not being able to steer on the ground, makes them pretty useless, plus the fact that there is very little training for both of theses in FC3
-
So im fairly new to dcs world and thought id take advantage of the sale and purchase FC3 My train of thought would have been to learn how to fly on the FC3 a10a and progress to the a10 c- that was my first big mistake as the A10-a is broken and FC3 has very little training for the A10a I guess i could have over looked the lack of training, but when you cant steer quite a few of the FC3 aircraft on the ground the FC3 package is pretty useless in IMO Any change of getting my money back? disappointed is an understatement

Im think of purchasing the AV-8b, but have limited experience on fc3 aircraft Am i going to struggle with the AV8b as my first clickable cockpit Has anyone been in the same position ? Thanks
-
odd that this bug has been going on for years - just had the same hing happen

How can I explain this - Im sat on runway 27, which i understand is at a heading of 270, so if i flew in a straight line at 270 I should be able to do a 180 turn and return on a heading of 090 to the run way ive just taken off from - but i dont Are my math right ? am i going mad - what am i missing

Thanks for your reply I find the su25t and the a10a fun but fells like they are missing something ( im okay in both ) but have my moments I cant help but feel that the visual references in a clickable pit would benefit me over having all of the controls on a HOTAS, which I think is where my problem is I don't want to jump straight into the f14 or maybe I should wait and learn that cockpit, without learning another first and confusing my self
-
Enjoying learning on the FC3 planes, but I feel I'm not getting the whole experience and find myself drawn more and more to the harrier of even the pending F14. My question is are the clickable cockpit models more enjoyable or am I going to struggle with limited experience. I know I'm nowhere near ready jumping into the multi player experience. I actually find the HOTAs binding for all of the controls quite daunting and often pause the sim to check up on the position of a switch, where as I think a clickable pit will be easier in a number of way-not to mention the visual references, plus keeping the binding to a minimum Thoughts suggestions please
